Snowy Mountain Holidays is located in the rural town of Towong in NE Victoria. Built on a knoll, we overlook the Upper Murray River and onto the Snowy Mountains Range.


The views from here are magnificent, the area in general a quiet pastoral wonder world.

We offer two cottages, uniquely constructed with open beams and a cozy atmosphere. The cottages are fully self-contained with linen provided. Each cottage has TV, stereo, microwave. We can arrange DVD players if desired. Many of the furnishings are hand made or antique which add to the ambiance and country character of your stay.

Each cottage has a separate bedroom and sleeps up to 4-6 people. We also offer B&B accommodation in our log home.

All meals are available with advance notice. We serve 3 course dinners in the dining room of our log home, small and personalized. Breakfast starts with fresh fruits, cereal, juice, ground coffee, tea and finishes with local free range eggs, bacon, tomatoes (fresh from the garden when in season) and home made bread for toast. A continental breakfast consists of all of the above without the eggs and bacon. Breakfast can be served in the dining room or provided in your cottage.

Your pets are welcome here. They are allowed inside if clean and dry, but are not allowed on any furniture. Please bring your pet's bedding. There are nice walks and lots of river fun for them.

We are 10 minutes from Corryong, Victoria; 1 ½ hours drive from Albury, NSW, 5 hours drive from Melbourne and 6 hours drive from Sydney.

We are small and personalized and do our best to make your stay memorable and pleasant.

Cottage #1

Build in hand hewn style ,Cottage #1 has open beams and is fully self-contained. It has a full kitchen and reverse cycle air conditioning. The wood combustion stove ensures a very cozy stay in the cooler months. We supply all linen and stock most household needs. There is a viewing deck with lounges for all our guests to enjoy the magnificent views of the Murray River, the Snowy Mountains Range and Mt Kosciusko

Cottage #2

Cottage #2 is uniquely constructed with open beams and plenty of atmosphere. It has gas heat and reverse cycle air conditioning. The balcony offers views of the Towong Valley and Upper Murray Valley. It is the larger of our 2 cottages with kitchen, bathroom and all linen provided. There is a viewing deck with lounges for all our guests to enjoy the magnificent views of the Murray River, the Snowy Mountains Range and Mt Kosciusko.
