The township of Beachmere, tucked away in the northern section of Moreton Bay, is a quiet yet pleasant hideaway.
Its location just above Deception Bay, where the mouth of the Caboolture River flows into the bay, makes it an ideal spot for boating and fishing. Public boat ramps can be accessed either on the river or on the bay itself. For those without their own, boats are also available for hire in Beachmere.
Kids will enjoy watching millions of tiny soldier crabs scuttling along the mud flats at low tide. There is a skate park located in Beachmere too, where children can ride bikes or skate. Further inland on the Caboolture River is a marina and chandlery.

This unit was very well set out with a well fenced yard, suitable for medium size dogs. The unit was exceptionally clean, nice white tiles throughout. Nice touch was having beds made up for us, handwash soap & linen provided. We had a really pleasant stay, only hampered by the heavy rains, which caused some flooding around the house. But we would certainly recommend this property to someone who wanted a quiet get away with their dogs.

This is a pleasant environment and very peaceful. We found that everything you need was catered for, right down to having your bed made on arrivial. The unit was clean right through out but I would just like to ask that other people that use these "pet friendly" accommodation to consider everyone else and REMOVE your pets poos etc etc. We travel with our pets and appreciate having somewhere to stay and we do not want that door closed because you are too lazy to pick it up!!!!

Myself, My sister & my partner stayed at Rippas Retreat for the weekend. The place was nice and clean, everything was so easy to find and it was the perfect size. I would definately recommend Rippas Retreat to anyone who would like time away from everything and go out to a beautiful suburb of Beachmere to relax and unwind. Rippas will definately be on the top of my list when looking to somewhere to stay again.

Very family friendly with great new amenities like big kitchen with a nice new oven and a huge (I mean huge) shower and bathroom. Our kids loved the yard and the beach. Must come back when the weather improves! So much more to see than we could handle in a short time. Top marks for the excellent Beachmere tavern also (just up the road) for great food and awesome kids play area. Just the place for a beer and a relax after a big day out with the family. Word of warning though ... arrive early as the place fills up quick!

Myself and 4 grandchildren had a wonderful stay at Rippa's. The facilities are great, the surroundings are beautiful and beaches are not far away. Birdsong starts early and they visit the backyard. The area is very quiet and the boys took advantage of the bikes supplied. I had no worries about traffic so they had fun. Bliss was dinner at the Tavern, down to the park and then a walk on the beach. So refreshing and relaxing. I left happy and will return.
