  • "We came from Sydney to stay at Cumquat Cottage. The house had everything in it that we needed. The beds were comfy the shower was spacious and hot and there was lots of little extras like special soap in the bathroom. The wildlife also was amazing. the birds knew exactly what time to come to be fed. Healesville is a lovely town and our friends from Melbourne loved it so much they may even move there. We will definitely be back for another stay."

  • "We want to thank you for the pleasure of staying at your lovely B&B. I was enraptured with the spring garden and walked around and around. Inside was both swish and comfortable. Thankyou again!"

  • "My wife and I stayed at the cottage with our 2 closest friends, and from the time we turned into the driveway and entered the front door we were very impressed with the presentation and decor of the cottage. It was absolutely spotless, and all amenities that would be required and more. The beds we very comfortable and linen was beautiful. Would highly recommend to anybody contemplating a stay in Healesville."

  • "My family and I stayed for a week and it was a really wonderful experience to be had. We were so delighted at the sight of this cottage together with all the surprises that came along with it. The DVD collection helped bring the family even closer and the welcome guests (the birds) plus the fruit trees were all the little things that lift our spirits every morning we woke up! Thanks Trevor and Val for the great holiday!"

  • "My friends and I stayed at Cumquat Cottage to attend a wedding over a weekend. On arriving, the cottage has a definite 'wow' factor. It's beautifully presented, the French windows at the front of the house, the pond, the bird house, the fairy lights on the cumquat tree and the clean, cosy and inviting interior all added up to what was truly a lovely place to stay. We were only disappointed that we could not stay longer - and I'm already trying to plan my next trip to stay there. It has a real 'home away from home' feel. I've stayed in a few 'cottages' but many are really just regular houses you'd see in the city which happen to located in a country town - that's not a cottage - this is a real cottage! And I mean that in the absolute best sense of the word. Thanks Val and Trev. "
