Belle Mare provides a unique opportunity for up to eight people to get away from the everyday, but with all the comforts of home - you can even bring the pets. You'll relax straightaway in the stylish light filled living space, with wide screen TV, DVD player and stereo. Gather for fun and food at the sunny outdoor setting in our spacious garden or the formal indoor dining table. There's plenty of space for guests to spread out and do their own thing.

For local convenience the nearby Jan Juc shopping centre will provide you with the basics and the newly renovated Bells Beach Hotel has great dining options. Alternatively you can reach the bustling action of Torquay by foot along the beach or by car, plus discounted shopping at big brand surf gear including seconds and warehouse sales, is all just a 5 minute drive away. A covered car port provides space for two cars.

At Belle Mare all holiday cooking and entertaining appetites are catered for with a central fully equipped kitchen (including basic pantry stocks) and a Weber gas BBQ/oven on the deck. For easy living and comfort the three bedrooms, laundry and bathing areas (including a master bedroom ensuite) are positioned at the front of the house away from the central living space.

Local Attractions & things to do

Torquay is famous for its beaches. There are safe beaches for small kids (Cosy Corner) and surf beaches for loads of fun (Torquay and Jan Juc). For the serious surfer there’s the world famous Bells Beach and Winkipop just a short drive away. Zeally Bay beach (Cosy Corner) has a grassed foreshore reserve with picnic/BBQ facilities available and shady trees, a fantastic beach for young families.

Torquay has many attractions beyond the beach, including Surfworld Museum, Tigermoth World and of course, it is the gateway to The Great Ocean Road. The surf shops and outlets will keep any keen shopper amused for hours! The area also has lots of wineries to discover and enjoy.

There are surfing schools if you want to learn, or windsurfing and kite-surfing on those windy days at Cosy Corner. For the fisherman there are some good fish to be caught from the beaches and Spring Creek, just check for the local Marine Park boundaries.

Our famous touring route the \\'Great Ocean Road\\' will take you to other beautiful towns and beaches like Anglesea, Aireys Inlet and Lorne. A day trip to Apollo Bay and down to the Twelve Apostles, with many activities to do and see along the way.

An enjoyable drive in the other direction takes you to the Bellarine Peninsula with its beautiful towns and beaches of Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Pt Lonsdale and Queenscliff.
