A beautiful, light-filled, two-bedroom beach house, superbly maintained with a large deck overlooking the pristine beach and turquoise water. Fully equipped, modern kitchen and barbeque on the deck. Quality bedding and linen, electric blankets on all beds. Bathroom/laundry with bath. HD TV with DVD and USB. Sisters Beach is a clean, green and pristine paradise. The beautiful white sandy beach is great for swimming, snorkelling, fishing and boogie boarding. The sheltered and scenic river mouth is on your doorstep, great for young families and water toys. Beautiful views throughout the pristine national park. Dolphin pods are regularly spotted frolicking in the bay. Laze on the deck, lay in bed, snooze on the comfy sofas, from all angles you can watch the waves rolling onto the sand. The scenic walks to Anniversary Bay and beyond are a nature lover's paradise.

How to find Sisters Beach

A 15 minute scenic drive from Burnie-Wynyard Airport, or 1 hour from Devonport Ferry or Airport. 30 Minutes to Stanley (the Nut), 1 hour to Woolnorth (historic farming property). The pristine Sisters Beach is right in the heart of Rocky Cape National Park, with direct access to its famous walking trails . A short walk from Blue Bayou Beach House, over the footbridge, through the park and childrens playground, you discover the Sisters Beach Village Store where all your fishing, groceries and home-baked takeaways can be purchased. A coffee shop and beachfront restaurant are a scenic 10 minute drive away at Boat Harbour Beach.

Fishing, Bike Riding, Bushwalking

The fishing catch includes king flathead, squid, shark and salmon. Diving is excellent including crayfish and abalone. Bike riding around the small seaside village is excellent (two mountain bikes are available for guests). There are beautiful walking trails full of native wildflowers, and just over the hill lies the beautiful Anniversary Bay (romantic, secluded white beach and turquoise swimming bay). Lounge on the deck, watch all the action on the beach, cook your fresh catch on the barbeque.

Bikes (2), books, mags, dvd's, boogie boards (4), toy box and basic pantry items are all provided for your enjoyment during your stay as our guests at Blue Bayou.
