Description
We highly recommend you hire a car for your convenience and pleasure and private parking is provided, with easy access to the cottage. Hosts, Peter and Jackie Pye meet and greet all our guests on arrival at the airport to ensure they are comfortably settled into their cottage.
If flights are late, and outside of normal shopping hours, we will include a small breakfast starter pack for their convenience.
There are five separate cottages all rated four stars by AAA rating. They are Lavender Cottager, Daisy Cottage, Rose Cottage, Azalea Cottage and Gardenia Cottage all guaranteeing our guests complete privacy, boasting modern design and decor and very well maintained. You will be pleasantly surprised.
The cottages are fully self contained with comfortable king size or king single beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge area. Good quality, sun-dried linen and towels are provided. There is a separate bathroom and laundry with automatic washing machines.
Kitchens have full cooking facilities, including convection microwave, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery etc. and leisure facilities include cable TV, video, direct dial telephones, beach towels, picnic blanket, wine cooler, thermos, esky, picnic baskets. We also have a BBQ and summer kitchen on site which is perfect for couples or small groups to entertain..
Units are serviced weekly and full quality linen and guest amenities are provided. Children are welcome and cots are available on request.

The Cottages
Each cottage is named after a well known flower. These flowers are growing at the door to the cottages. These include Lavender, Daisy, Rose, Azalea and Gardenia.
These beautiful flowers add to the ambiance of the property and the tropical gardens surrounding the cottages. Cottages overlook a beautiful valley with views up to Mount Pitt, giving the cottages a northerly aspect. Each cottage has a private veranda which is private and protected and generally sunny and warm.
A car is included in the rate for your convenience. Petrol and compulsory insurance is payable direct on arrival.
The island
Norfolk Island is a sub-tropical island. Temperatures range from 13-28 and it is recommended that you bring casual, comfortable clothing and shoes. A jacket is recommended as evening temperatures can be a little cooler.
The island boasts beautiful scenic picnic spots and protected beaches, and water temperatures, do not vary much between winter and summer.
There are lots of places to explore and a wonderful variety of tours to choose from. Shops boast tax free prices and there are lots of imported goods which are still cheaper than mainland prices.
The liquor bond store offers 30% discount on three litres of alcohol per person and customs allow 2 litres to be taken back to the mainland. The choices are wide and varied.
There are a great variety of restaurants and eating places and your hosts can guide you once you are on island.
