Description
Currumbin Cottage is the perfect house for a romantic getaway for couples or a small family. The house has a cosy, rustic feel and is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of a beautiful rainforest gully. It is just a 3 minute's drive or a 15 minute walk to beautiful Currumbin Beach with its cafes, restaurants, shops and wildlife sanctuary.
The cottage is open plan, with a light and airy feeling. There is a garden at the front, as well as a large private garden at the back on 2 levels, which is shrouded by a canopy of trees. The cottage is very close to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, so there are always beautiful birds flying through the garden on their way to and from the sanctuary.

Currumbin Cottage is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture, giving it a comfortable and relaxing feel.
THE ROOMS:
*LOUNGE / DINING / KITCHEN
There is a large open plan lounge / dining / kitchen.
The lounge area features a comfortable sofa and arm chair, perfect for lounging around, reading, listening to music, watching DVDs and relaxing.
The sofa folds out into a comfortable queen sized bed, allowing up to 4 people to stay at any time.
The lounge area has windows on 3 sides, with a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the rear garden, and a sliding door opening to a wooden deck that runs the length of the house, with steps down to the garden.
The dining area features a large antique pine table with 4 modern chairs, and a beautiful pine display cabinet.
The kitchen is fitted out with all your dining and cooking needs, and includes a microwave, stove, fridge, coffee plunger and so on.
*BEDROOM
There is only one bedroom, which features a comfortable queen size bed with quality Sheridan bedding. There is also a dressing table and chair, and a wardrobe.
The bedroom also features a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the garden, with a sliding door that leads to the rear deck.
*BATHROOM
The cottage has a newly renovated bathroom which is located next to the bedroom. It features a bath with shower, toilet and vanity.
*DECK
The rear deck runs the length of the house, and is high set so it sits amongst the canopy of rainforest trees overlooking a beautiful gully. The deck includes comfortable chairs for relaxing with a book, a coffee or a glass of wine. There is also a small dining table and chairs for al-fresco dining.
THE GARDEN
There are stairs from the rear deck down into the garden. The rear garden is on 2 levels, and features beautiful mature trees covered in tropical vines. There is a BBQ available for you to use.
THE LAUNDRY
There is a separate laundry with a washing machine and sink, and a covered area for drying your clothes.
PARKING
Currumbin Cottage has a garage, or you can park in the driveway at the front of the house. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac so there is no through traffic.
Perfect for Couples and Small Families
Currumbin cottage is the perfect size for a couple, but there is also an additional queen size sofa bed in the lounge room. A single fold out mattress is also available on request, and is ideal for a child.
The cottage is ideally located less than 10 minutes from Coolangatta airport, or an hours drive from Brisbane CBD.
The cottage offers easy access to all the amenities of the Gold Coast, and is only moments from arguably the best beach on the Gold Coast. Yet it is also a tranquil retreat away from noise, hustle and bustle.
