This single storey cottage has two bedrooms both with queen size beds, flat screen TV's and ceiling fans.
The home features two separate living areas, the south facing lounge room spills out onto the beautiful deck, fringed by native trees and has views across the bay of Lake Macquarie. The Lounge area is equipped with flat screen TV, Foxtel, DVD player and Mini HiFi sound system with IPod docking station.
The second living area adjoins the modern kitchen and is at the rear of the house and has a double sofa lounge. Next to the second living area is a full laundry with Washing Machine, Dryer, and Ironing facilities.
The stylish kitchen is fully equipped with Microwave, Dishwasher, Tea and Coffee and all the modern kitchen gadgets.
Sun, Surf, Fish, Golf or Relax
Sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquility of the lake as the Ducks and Pelicans pass by or hit the Golf course for a round Golf at the beautiful Belmont Course.
Launch the boat at the public boat ramp and head off to get the catch of the day ready for that afternoon BBQ as you take in the beautiful summer sunsets.
The property is conveniently located only 5 minutes drive from beautiful Blacksmiths Beach, or an easy 5 minute walk to Belmont Golf Club. Shopping facilities are available at either Belmont or Swansea.
The cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults (2 queen beds and 1 double sofa) and also has two single bed ottomans (for the Kids). All bedding linen and towels are provided.

If you like a quiet getaway this is the perfect place. Fantastic location, really nicely refurbished, kitchen with everything - you won't want to leave. We had 2 nights but I would have no trouble spending 2 weeks here. Highly recommended.

'One hour from home and a million miles away from care' that's how we felt when we stepped onto the deck on Friday evening and watched sunset fall asleep on the bay.Ducks Bungalow felt like we had left home to come home;the large 2 bedroom cottage designed and maintained to a high quality and finish with those little touches of comfort and commonsense;like paper towels in the kitchen represented that the owners think of the necessities that are often taken for granted.It is hard to be brief when relating our break at the bungalow - the crisp weekend mornings watching boats moored on the lake while sipping coffee,the visits by the friendly ducks in the afternoon or sipping a good red watching sunset or snuggled up on large sofas reading that exact novel left by the owners or falling asleep on the crisp linens in a cosy warm bedroom - hard to sum up our lovely weekend away. This was a fantastic property in an excellent location. Having the private pontoon was very handy as we have a boat and the boys can go fishing while the girls went shopping. On arrival I was very impressed with the professional presentation of the property, a few nice touches will always give a great impression. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful getaway bungalow by the water, so peaceful and quaint. Everything you could possibly think of was here waiting for us. Perfect for restoring energy with family and friends, well equipped for entertaining as well as just doing absolutely nothing.

We had a lovely time at Ducks Bungalow. We really enjoyed fishing/kayaking or just sitting on the deck overlooking the water, having a bbq and taking in that lovely view. The bird life was really interesting to watch - the sea gulls, the pelicans and the ducks. The house is so well set up that everything we needed was pretty much provided.Had a truly relaxing experience.Hope to visit again.

Absolutely lovely property. Well laid out and great location. spent the weekend and our toddler adored the fact that the ducks visit so often. The owners have thought of everything and the little touches such as kids dvd's made it an amazing stay.
Would highly recommend for a weekend away and we are planning our next trip already!

This was a great little place to spend a nice weekend away. We wished we could've stayed longer. Very clean and sunny with everything we needed. Extremely comfy beds and the rooms were lovely and cool still considering how hot it was when we went. Loved the tv's in the rooms and the big pay tv in the living room. Loved having breakfast/dinner outside on the deck with the ducks too!

What a beautiful spot. The bungalow was perfect. Our stay 2 adults and 2 children was fantastic. The kids loved the fishing and jumping into the prestine water off the jetty. We have stayed at some lovely places but nothing as beautiful as this romantic,fun waterfront property.
There is Nothing like waking up in the morning to the smell of fresh salty air & a lake that looks like glass.
Sitting on your deck or the jetty watching the sun go down.
Great place for the kids too,bring your floaties & goggles!
Beautiful sandy clean water.
We took our boat & had 3 perfect nights of fishing!!! Was sad we had to leave.

It's often hard to find a place that's architecturally pleasing, comfortable and affordable for the family to relax. This one ticked all our boxes!
A wonderful spot on the lake, safe for the kids to jump in and swim, relaxing to sit on the deck in the breeze and shade on hot days, good to entertain friends in the evening over the BBQ, easy access for cycling, beach, walking.
We're checking our diaries for a return visit.

A girls retreat we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ducks Bungalow. The place has been beautifully renovated with love and great attention to detail throughout, providing a calm and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the tranquility of the lake. We hired kayaks from the nearby Lake Macquarie Boat hire at Pelican, which we also enjoyed. We would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place that is beautifully appointed. Perfect for a family holiday. Amazing aspect from the verandah that we called home for 2 weeks, perfect for entertaining. The BBQ a great addition. Breathtaking views over Swan Bay that change on a daily basis. Good swimming and fishing. Flat area great for those morning walks. Convenient to local shops. We highly recommend this accommodation and will be keen to visit next year.
