Description
The house is Colonial Style, with raked timber ceilings, log walls,and all of the internal walls are lined with timber.
Unlike many other log type houses, the exterior walls are made up of 170mm solid logs, that form both the interior and exterior walls to provide unequalled insulation. Other imitation log houses, use split logs and nail them to the wall frame to imitate the feature on the outside and resort to gyprock on the interior side.
There are 2 living areas, both have their own log fires to add to the rustic charm of the house.
The new world has then been added with the inclusion of microwaves, internet, 5 TV's including a 110 cm, Satelite reception, DVD/VHS and C/D, heated towel rails & bathroom floor.

This wonderful holiday home has been outfitted perfectly for a family getaway. With 2 small children (4 and 1.5 years) we were never without something to do even on a rainy day. We even took the grandparents with us on our second visit, they also had a fabulous time.
Yuranga was the perfect choice for our holiday! The house was fantastic with everything in it that you could possibly need to make your holiday extremely comfortable and enjoyable. We skiied, fished, toured, got up close and personal with the wildlife and still managed to just kick back and relax in between all this activity. The kids had a fabulous time, and were never bored with all the movies and games that were made available for them to use during our stay. The computer and internet were also an absolute bonus and made life very easy for us. Last but not least, a big thank you to Ron & Maxine for all their help. They are fantastic hosts and can't wait to go back for another visit!
