IT IS NOT PART OF A LARGE AND NOISY APARTMENT COMPLEX. You won't be sharing with any other paying guests.
It is an extremely peaceful and quiet area. In respect to our lovely neighbours, we do not allow parties.
This is the perfect and peaceful place to base yourself while exploring all the treasures that the Whitsunday Region has to offer. There are many places to visit and things to do: an abundance of national parks, turtle spotting, sailing, sea kayaking, mountain biking, shopping, swimming in the local waterhole at the base of Cedar Falls, rainforest walks, crocodile safari, and enjoying the many cafes and restaurants. But make sure you take the time to simply stay home, have a massage beside the pool and enjoy being in one of the most spectacular locations on the planet.
The local markets are held every Saturday and Tuesday mornings on the foreshore in Airlie Beach, where you may find handmade crafts, nic nacs, fruit and vegies and wonderful snacks.

****When enquiring please state whether your enquiry is for one floor or two - i.e. one adult couple or two adult couples.
Flights to Proserpine or Hamilton Island. Flametree airstrip, 5 km up the road, can accommodate private light aircraft.
Car hire is available from Proserpine Airport or in Airlie Beach or you can arrange for a hire car to be brought out to you at Shute Harbour via Fun Rentals.
The local bus runs from Shute Harbour into Airlie Beach and on to Proserpine every 20 minutes throughout the day.

"We went to stay for 6 lovely days and nights at this property. The owner is extremely kind - picking us up in shute harbour and being kind enough to pick us up and dropping us off various times when we needed it without any complaints. She was also extremely respectful of our privacy. As for the place itself - it has the most amazing views of water and the islands. The photos simply do not do justice to how stunning the views are. They also appeared to us to be the best views in the whole Airlie beach region! There is a lovely hot-water spa which we made use of every day and an infinity pool. The Studio apartment feels much bigger than a studio apartment and is very tastefully decorated. There is no TV reception but there is a hard-drive that has some really good movies and a lot of good TV shows, as well as music. The facilities have everything you could want to cook a meal or do a grill outside and we could not recommend this more as a couple's getaway to really get away from it all in paradise." "What an amazing few days we had staying at the Whitsunday retreat. It was a perfect place to spend a honeymoon, but actually I could stay there just to be there. To open your eyes in the morning to see the tree covered islands and the turquoise sea was just magical. The apartment was ideal for any couple even though the weather was not fantastic we were able to chill in absoute comfort and style. The infinity pool and then the warm jaccuci melted our aches away after long tropical walks and lazy days at Coral Beach. We must thank Cathi and Ron for picking us up from the Harbour with cases etc. They made us fill so welcome, offering advice on walks, fauna and flora etc and yet respected our privacy. The homemade bread and apple muffins were a delicious added delight!!!" June 2012
