  • "This is a lovely cottage surrounded by trees. Everything was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. The deck was great for wine time and at time the frogs sang on! Thanks for a great stay."

  • "We really loved gooseberry hill, all three of us. Our black labrador did not want to leave. It had a great yard and the cottage was so comfortable and clean with lovely furnishings. It was in a perfect location to visit the whole of the peninsula. We are looking to book again very soon! "

  • "The cottage has a lovely ambience - very clean, comfortable and cosy. It is well positioned for quick trip to Mornington as well as to Red Hill, Flinders, etc. Our son had a great time exploring the gardens, and it was wonderful being able to take our dog along, due to the secure fencing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will happily book again. Thanks for a great weekend!"

  • "Set in a very peaceful location, this little cottage is very cosy and well equipped with great views overlooking the olive grove. If it is relaxation you are after, then look no further! Our two little dogs loved the garden too, and I loved that they were fenced in and we didn't have to worry about them if we went out. Close by lots of attractions on the Mornington Peninsular, this is an ideal place to stay - we will be back!!"

  • "Had a relaxing three nights at this lovely cottage with our two girls. On a wet and windy July day arrived to find the owners had the fire going and the cottage cosy and warm. We were very comfortable and this was a great base for exploring wineries and other peninsula attractions. We definitely hope to come back and make more of the lovely outlook from the deck."

  • "If you're looking for a stress break that is not only close to the city, but also close to almost everything on the peninsula then give this place a look. We were lucky enough to have still sunny Autumn days were we sat on the large deck reading our books with a tinge of colour just creeping into the foliage around us, which then gave way to the picturesque backdrop of an olive grove on the side of a hill. Just perfect. "

  • "We felt instantly relaxed as soon as we entered Gooseberry Hill. We stayed for 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. The proximity to places of interest was great. 10 mins to Mornington, 15mins to Merricks .Everything the Mornington Peninsula has to offer was less than 30 mins away.Great base. The accommodation was lovely with a queen room and a room with 2 singles. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Lounge area was well equiped with wood burning stove, DVD's and magazines and a very comfy sofa. Well equiped kitchen, however some coffee would have been a great added extra. Large fenced yard was great and having a washing machine and clothes line was a great addition. Would highly reccommend Gooseberry Hill and we look forward to returning in the future with our dog."

  • "I have just bought my great dane pup Marlee and we decided it would be great to go away with my mum and dad for a couple of nights we couldn't have choosen a better place. It was great to be able to relax in front of a lovely log fire and just chill out. Catherine was very welcoming and it was obvious she loves animals. We will certainly going back. It was centrally located for easy access to all parts of the penisular."
