Were located in the Lorne Hinterland, with ideal access to all that the Great Ocean Road and the hinterland offers, yet away from the crowded tourist towns of the surf coast.
Our four uniquely themed cottages are surrounded by bushland, providing privacy to all guests - except for the occasional kangaroo visit.

All cottages are fully self-contained with every attention to detail. Kitchens are very well equipped with microwaves and full sized ovens and fridges. You will find all the little extras here - fabulous log fires, home made welcome treats, seasonal bonfires out front - just to name a few.

Wander the bush tracks on the property or hop over the stile to gain access to the fabulous Otway Forest Park and walk for miles.

Your dogs are very welcome at Countrywide - they will love the bush tracks, a cool swim in the dam and the home made doggie- treats and cosy beds that welcome them on arrival. We proudly hold the 5 Paws Rating for Best Pet Friendly accommodation from Holidaying with Dogs 2008 - 2010 and 2010 - 2012
Try your luck at catching some yabbies in our fully stocked dam. You may even catch enough for dinner.
Children are welcome to come and help us feed the animals. We have a bundle of sheep and sometimes a hand- reared lamb or two, as well as our cute lop-eared bunnies for children to play with. Our chickens will do their best to keep up the egg supply to ensure you enjoy a taste of their wonderful free range lifestyle - eggs are finders keepers.
Check out the recreation area with a pool table and dart board in the "pub" and a gas BBQ undercover in the "saddlery" next door. Theres plenty of room to kick the footy or bowl a few overs.
Countrywide Cottages is proud to be a part of the Otway Harvest Trail - surrounded by superb wineries, cafes, berry picking farms and of course the Great Ocean Road, the Otway Fly, beaches, waterfalls and picnic spots. With lots of great day trips to choose from, its an excellent place to stay and far enough away from the tourist crowds to be an authentic, tranquil Australian bush experience. Fabulous!

Tariffs apply to the first two people enjoying in the two bedroom Ferny Reach and Igloo cottages. The first two people staying in the three bedroom Villa and Canopy are charged at $175 Sun - Thurs and $240 Fri and Sat off peak and $260 per night during peak times. Weekly and mid week deals apply.
SPECIAL: Mid week off peak special rate - four nights Mon to Thurs $540/2 people in the two bedroom Ferny Reach or Igloo and $600/2 people in the three bedroom Villa or Canopy. Extra people charged at $120 ($30 pp/pn)
