Description

SALUBRIOUS (positive sense of health enhancement) - your holiday starts the minute you walk into this comfortable, modern house. Whether you use it as base for activities, or 'stay home' and sleep, unwind, read, relax on the front deck, in the garden overlooking the bush, or in front of the fire, you will leave rejuvinated.

You can see the sea from the front deck, which is lovely for coffee, champagne or a meal, and has a bbq. The headland is just across the road and terrific for a walk to either of two beaches or to sit overlooking the bay, especially in the morning or at dusk.

House has ample living space including a well-equipped kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher; lovely meals area looking out over bushland; a large lounge-dining room, with tv, dvd player, stereo, and the dining table seats 8 comfortably; and three good sized bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: King bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: two singles
Rumpus - dbl sofa bed
A porta-cot and booster seat for littlies are also provided. Electric blankets on king and queen beds.

Good sized modern ensuite to bedroom 1. Main bathroom has a bath. Downstairs has another living area, 3rd toilet, laundry.

Doors and windows have amplimesh screens, so they can be left open day and night for fresh air flow. Main bedroom has a ceiling fan. A slow combustion fire keeps the house very warm in colder months.

House-trained canine members of the family are welcome, but not on beds and furniture please. Pet bed and bowls are provided. For their health, please ensure pet vaccinations, flea & tick treatments are up to date.

The property also has a nice garden overlooking natural bush at the back. Some basics are provided in the pantry - condiments, vinegars, flour, sugar. There are books and games.

BYO linen, towels, beach towels. King bed linen can be hired if needed.

Location

FABULOUS - the best of both worlds - Maloneys Beach is a short walk. Long Beach is a longer walk or a few minutes drive. Both are nice quiet beaches away from the bustle, while Batemans Bay shops, restaurants and clubs are only a 10-15 minute drive. There is a 'corner store' at Maloneys Beach, which also does nice coffee and has papers (how good is reading the paper over coffee at the beach). The beach is shared off-lead in the evening.

The Eurobodalla has a lot to offer - many, many great beaches; bush walking in near-by National Parks; fishing, scuba & kayaking; cinema & art cinema; museums & galleries; great clubs.

Milton and Mollymook are around 1/2 hour to the north, and Mogo and Moruya around 1/2 hour south - all worth a visit. For the fit, Pigeon House Mt is about an hour north, and Mt Dromedary is south near Tilba, which is worth a day trip in its own right.
