Carlson Terrace is an early 1800's three storey terrace block in the heart of historic Sydney. Two of which are available. This one known as Carlson Terrace and Carlson Terrace 112 stayz 110785. Both have an identical floor plan with similiar views. Both terraces are manged by Karen. A third ( one bedroom) may become available from December
The air conditioned terrace house is well and stylishly furnished. The ground floor lounge has a 38inch LCD television with foxtel and blueray/dvd player. A Bose wave radio with cd and docking station for an ipod or iphone. Comfortable lounge and chairs. The dining room has setting for six adults. The Kitchen has a microwave, oven fridge and dishwasher. Toaster and cooking utensils all supplied. WIFI internet throughout the house.
Upstairs on the first level is the Bathroom and Laundry. The laundry has a washing machine and a dryer. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board supplied. The master bedroom has a Queen sized bed with built in wardrobes and a window overlooking the street with views of the harbour and Balmain. The next bedroom has double bunk beds with safety rails. Climbing the stairs to the top floor brings you to the third bedroom. This has a King single bed with great views over the outside terrace area to harbour and Balmain. Walking onto the open terrace with great views brings you to the gas BBQ and outdoor setting for six. Just the place to relax after a long day.
Carlson Terrace has polished floor boards throughout with persian rugs.
All the stairs are original and therefore quite narrow and steep, not really suitable for the less mobile.
Children are welcome, however the standard of furnishing is high and any breakage beyond normal (adult) wear and tear would need to be accounted for. High chair and child gate can be arranged.

Carlson Terrace and Surrounds
Carlson Terrace is a Heritage listed Victorian terrace building overlooking Darling Harbour, Balmain and the former docks of The Hungary Mile. Located in the City/Rocks/Millers point precinct.
The following description is an extract from the Heritage listing.
An interesting variation of late Victorian terrace development that makes an important contribution to the streetscape north of Kent Street and the Agar Steps area
Built in 1882, the building is distinguished by an elaborate parapet and cornice with unusual cast iron roof balustrading. Windows have semi-circular heads, the ground floor openings being shuttered.
Walking out the front door turning left puts you in the City of Sydney new financial area of Kent st. A right turn and you are in Millers Point/Rocks area of Sydney, turn right again in three metres and a scenic walk up Agar Steps and you reach the top of Observatory Hill. Australias oldest observatory still operating is atop the hill. Stop and look around this park and you will notice the grand view of the Harbour bridge and surrounding harbour. A great location for a picnic.
Within a radius of a few hundred metres are at least five historic pubs, two railway stations (Wynyard and Circular Quay) the Sydney Harbour bridge, King street wharf, Observatory Hill Park and of course the Observatory. The Opera House is a 10 minute walk and Darling Harbour is about a 15 minute walk. The Rocks on the weekend have an outdoors market and right next door to Carlson Terrace is a public tennis court. For those who like the arts, Sydney Theatre company is just a stroll down to the wharf in Walsh Bay.
There is a cafe within five metres, a bottle shop, pharmacy, newsagent, numerous restaurants and convenience store nearby.
