With the best views in Mt Beauty this modern 3 BR cedar holiday cottage is sure to delight. Sample the complimentary wine and chocolates from the spacious deck, living or kitchen which all share the superb view. Kangaroos visit the garden from the edge of the bush. Modern furnishings and a well equipped kitchen ensure a comfortable stay.
Ski at Falls Creek or Mt Hotham.
Walk to the coffee shop. Visit local award winning restaurants and wineries. Bushwalking at the doorstep. Golf or tennis perhaps, or swim in the local pool or mountain streams. Tour Bright Beechworth and Yackandanda; fish the mountain streams; take a picnic to Bogong Village or climb Mt Bogong to be on the highest point in Victoria.

The Mountainview House

The mountainview house consists of a large open plan family living area and kitchen, with lovely mountain views.
The large balcony has uninterrupted views of Mt Bogong and the Kiewa Valley.
The house is set up high on the side of the valley in the new area of Tawonga Sth in a lovely garden setting. Have breakfast in the sun on the balcony, even in winter.
The three bedrooms are comfortable with electric blankets, doonas ,spare blankets, pillows, and two bedrooms have large wardrobes. There are 2 double bedrooms and the third bedroom has a single bed, a trundle bed and a set of bunks. The house has reverse cycle airconditioning and heating.

Home away from home

Our weekend rate is for a 3 or 2 night stay so take a little longer to enjoy a break. As well as being a comfortable cosy cottage Mountainview has all you could require for a relaxed stay away from home. There is a fully equpped laundry with clothes dryer and washing machine.
The kichen has crockery for 8 and a good range of cooking equipment. There is a full sized oven and hotplates as well as a microwave.
Outdoor gas barbeque available for the warmer months.
