Lani's Hideaway is a beautiful traditional 3 bedroom beach cottage, on a large parcel of land, great for entertaining and kids playing outside and just a 2 minute walk to the sea. The cottage sleeps 8 persons maximum wiith 2 Queen size bedrooms, double bunks and a futon sofa opening out to become a double bed.
The kitchen is fully stocked with large family size fridge, juicer, blender, food processor, modern Miele oven and stove, bread maker, toaster, electric frypan, coffee maker and much more.
There is a separate reading area with well stocked library, a study nook with large desk and front patio to capture the sea breezes.
A NEW BACK DECK has JUST BEEN ADDED, JUST OFF THE DINING ROOM.
The bathroom has both a shower and bath.
A new outdoor setting is also available.
All bedrooms have wardrobes so there is plenty of storage.
Outside there is a laundry with automatic washing machine, and additional cold water shower, to wash off the sand and salt.
A gas BBQ is also located in the verdant backyard.
A Linen Service is available in Currarong if you do not want to bring your own sheets, let us know when booking and details will be provided.
A 5 minute walk will take you to the beginning of the peninsula bushwalk which leads all round the Beecroft Peninsula. Off the track can be found numerous small uncrowded beaches and bays. A bit further into the bushwalk leads to spectacular cliff walks. There are approximately 14 beaches within the near vicinity of Lanis Hideaway .
Being surrounded by bushland and beaches, Currarong is one of the most peaceful and picturesque parts of the south coast.
Abrahams' Bosom Beach is a safe sheltered beach which has picnic grounds with wood BBQs at either end. A variety of walks start from this sheltered cove ranging from the 500-metre stroll to the wreck of the SS Merimbula to the half-day Coombies walk. The cliffs off the peninsular are spectacular and great whale watching at the right time of the year.
A number of walks and sheltered swimming areas can be accessed from the road to Point Perpendicular. The lookout allows spectacular views of Jervis Bay. The lighthouse is a photographers delight. Whales, dolphins and seals can often be spotted from the top of the cliffs.
Honeymoon Bay, a small heart-shaped beach on the Beecroft Peninsula is another popular destination for snorkelling.
Excellent rock fishing is to be found all around the peninsula.
Bushwalking, swimming, snorkelling, photography, fishing and bird watching are just some of the activities to undertake in the beautifful surrounds
Short drives will take you to the beautiful Kangaroo Valley or to the village at Berry. A number of wineries are nearby Berry. Husskinson is a short drive with Diving, Whale watching cruises .
Currarong is the perfect place for a quiet winter escape.
For those who love bush walking there are number of walking tracks scattered throughout Jervis Bay. Beecroft Peninsula has the beautiful cliff walks to watch the whales migrate to the north for the winter around May and return around October with their newborn.
Lani's Hideaway is cosy in winter with heating, warm donnas and there is even a bread maker to make some wonderful fresh and warm bread .
Lots of great books, great DVD's and videos for all the family as well as puzzles and games for your entertainment.
The new stereo has an iPod dock you can bring all your favorite music.
