Description
Oystercatcher is nestled in open woodland on 5 acres of land 200m from 9 mile beach. The house offers three bedrooms, a bathroom, large living area and outdoor deck to spread out and relax!. The house is a 1960's beach house that has been partly renovate and with the addition of the new decks at the front and rear of the house it gives you space to lounge outdoors and BBQ the fish you have caught in Great Oyster Bay (or bought at the local fish shop)! Just minutes drive from Swansea- or a walk along the beach if you're up to it- Dolphin Sands is a great place to get away from everything, enjoy the peace and quiet of this tranquil beach overlooking Freycinet National Park while being close to facilities, shops and great restaurants.
Sleeping arrangements
There are three bedrooms. Two of the rooms have double beds and the third has a bunk bed and single futon. The house therefore accommodates 3 children and two couples comfortably. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge room that provides an additional double bed if required. All linen and towels are provided.
Linen
Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost. The double beds both have electric blankets.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, laundry tub and toilet with access to the deck so that you can walk straight in from a swim and enjoy a shower.
Additional equipment/facilities
A BBQ is located on the deck with an outdoor setting and umbrella.
The beach is a short walk (approx 200m).
A collection of restaurant and recreational options are close by in Swansea, Freycinet National Park or simply walk to 9 mile beach for a swim.
The house has a Flatscreen TV and home entertainment system with a range of DVDs for you to watch.
The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, water filter, stove and oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, glasses and cups, crockery and cutlery and basic household needs. Its not a new kitchen but hopefully has everything you need.
The house has a fireplace and heaters which are only generally needed in winter.
There are also some books, jigsaw puzzles, and board games.
