Description
With only four family farm stay cottages for that special family experience, seclusion is ensured. For young and old there is joy in feeding ducks, chickens and geese, holding tiny new born guinnea pigs and rabbits and collect eggs. The flood lit tennis court is always popular as is the salt water swimming pool. Canoeing on the lake is lots of fun.
There are open log fires and gas heating for those cozy nights.
Each cottage has been totally renovated using natural oils and environmental paints to the highest standard.
The cottages are equipped telephone, hair dryer, ironing equipment, Aus STAR movies & sports, dvd's and toiletries. Wireless internet is available.
Over looking the creek and with a private outlook the cottages have new kitchens with dishwasher, microwave and oven. The benchtops are made from beautiful aged red gum. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds, and two fold down sofa beds to accommodate up to 8 people. All cottages have large bathrooms with spa baths, some with 2 bathrooms. The cottage balconies over look the babbling creek so while sitting quietly as the sun goes down it is possible to watch the wildlife come out to play and enjoy the forest sounds while connecting with nature.

Sharini together with husband John have been involved in the organic industry for over 20 years and know the difference of quality produce and good food, they have a passion for the environment, organic food and sustainable living. Most of the fresh produce is grown organically on the property or sourced from local growers.
Sharini makes wonderful traditional Sri-Lankan light curries and the best prawn curry ever.
For those of you who would rather be waited on you can order sumptuous organic meals in the restaurant.
The evening meal is a selected set menu of seasonally fresh produce of two or three courses from $50.00 half price for children under 10 years. Homemade soups in winter and fresh salads in summer, curries of course and of all descriptions, prawn, lamb, beef, fish, chicken, vegan and vegetarian. All dietary requirements are catered for.
Organic pasta dishes certified organic steaks seared the way you like it (delicious)! Roast of the day, even tasty marinated kangaroo with juniper berry sauce. Deserts are special too. Have you tried organic chocolate pudding or organic poached fruits with creamy ice cream? Sticky date pudding and apple and rhubarb crumble are always a favourite.
The breakfast menu will vary with the seasons and will include dishes such as freshly roasted organic granola / muesli with yoghurt or milk, seasonal fruit platters, pancakes, farm eggs, baked zucchini slice, muffins, organic fruit breads and organic homemade jams with wholemeal toasts, organic juices and a wide selection of the best organic teas and coffees, $25.00 for three courses and half price for children.
We also have a wood fired pizza oven for the special pizza nights.
The restaurant is not open for lunch and is also closed on Sunday and Monday evenings and all public holidays.
We will also have a small selection of essential groceries for your convenience, breads, milk, salads, fruits, olives, pies, BBQ packs.
We also have delicious prepared meals that can be purchased to enjoy in the privacy of your own accommodation.
We have a wide selection of fabulous certified red and white organic wines from around $25.00 a bottle and even the first Australian organic sparking chardonnay for that special occasion, Cooper's Real Ales of course.

Facilities and Inclusions
We supply the racquets and balls for a game of tennis on the flood lit tennis court. The salt water pool awaits for a cool dip after that bush walk or horse ride. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen when walking quietly through the rainforest and timbered country. We'll even supply you with a fishing rod, you can then dig your own worms and enjoy the relaxation of waiting for the fish to bite. This is a nature lovers paradise and a special part of Australia so don't miss it...
John is always delighted to talk to the guests about sustainable farming and composting and to show them around the organic garden. See the fruit and vegetable garden, learn about sustainable building and energy, fun for kids, interesting for adults.
There is a hay barn with swings and a games room, table tennis, AUS star movies & sports, DVD selection, pool table, mountain bikes, and the most beautiful rain forest walks on your doorstep.
There are hundreds of unique birds, mammals and rare species here, even the elusive brumbies and koalas. See the wedge tail eagles, frogs and platypus in the cool clear waters of the creeks and rivers.
The Tops Organic Retreat has 2000 acres at the World Heritage listed Barrington Tops, it is one of the most spectacular and ideal places for rare and special birds in New South Wales, over 100 species can be found on the Retreat.
DID YOU KNOW - Only two places in Australia still have the ancient snow ferns? 'Kosciusko peaks' and 'Barrington Tops peaks' they have been around for hundreds of millions of years and probably won't last that long again so be QUICK and come up to The Tops soon.
We have over 20 kilometres of bushwalking trails to take advantage of the different diversities at the Retreat itself, from rainforest, to timbered country "The Tops" has it all. A wide range of free walking maps are provided to guests with information on the local area.
Try your luck and pan for gold.
For the more adventurous horse riding over the hills and through the timbered country and creeks can be arranged for just $45 for 2 hours. The thrills and spills of white water kayaking down pristine rivers can also be arranged very close by.
4 Wheel Drive Tours over the property can be arranged when the weather allows.
Have a quiet drink in the afternoon, sit back, relax and watch the wallabies come out to feed and listen to the kokaburra's laughing.
