Guest Reviews
We had a wonderful stay.. Ambleside was comfy, cosy, and had absolutely everything we needed! Its location is central and convenient and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It's ideal for both couples and families - even our baby daughter enjoyed herself! The owner made us feel extremely welcome, and we will definitely be back many times!

It is a lovely cottage and we felt very welcome, it has everything you would need for a break away from home. The owners attention to detail, leaving music on and laying the fire ready for our arrival made it even more special.

Ambleside was extremely comfortable with a lovely back yard. As we were attending the Music Festival we found it a great location to base ourselves. All ammenities were made available and the home was clean.

Not a bad property if you are after budget-style accommodation. Typical farmhouse style. We spent the night in front of the fire in the lounge roomwhich was a great way to spend my birthday drinking red wine and warming the beef pie in the microwave.

Lovely cottage tucked away in quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from shops and train station. We enjoyed the comfortable surroundings and slept well! The owner was not only knowledgeable about the area (and had compiled a very informative notebook with maps and local attractions) but a pleasure to talk with about Australia and travel in general.

Very nice cottage. Lots of room for two children. Lovely garden and friendly owners. You can do great bushwalks from the end of The Mall, plus the walk to the shops and back is good too.
