House is secluded and situated on one acre of natural coastal bush adjacent to the Ocean Beach, it is that close you can hear the waves hence the name 'Coastal Whispers'.
House is very spacious & energy efficient, natural light streams into an enormous fully equipped kitchen. The family area is designed for casual meals with table & 6 chairs plus a breakfast bar with 4 stools. There is also a separate dining area for formal entertaining, this gives families a choice of dining & entertaining.
Dining room table also converts to a pool table.
Main bedroom is large & has a queen size bed & a daybed provides a quiet reading area for parents.
Second bedroom has double bed & 3 single beds this room can sleep 5 people. Large lounge also has 2 double sofa beds to relax on plus a well stocked bookcase, this room also has a lounge suite, TV & DVD.
'Coastal Whispers' has loads of space for large families & there is lots of board games & books for children.
House has ducted heating & pedestal fans for cooling.
Hammocks are provided to relax under the trees or use the sun lounges on the timber deck. Enclosed pet area with kennel allows you to bring your dog & save on kennel fees whilst they stay with you.
Large double carport provides paved area for children to play games.
2 BBQ's one is gas, the other traditional wood, great for toasting marshmallows.
The ocean beach is a short walk through the sand dunes. This beach is ideal for long walks, snorkelling in rock pools, flying kites, walking dogs or enjoying romantic sunsets, it is never crowded even during summer.
Towels & quality bed linen can be provided if required at an extra cost of $15 per person. House cleaning is also available at extra cost if required.

We stayed at coastal whispers for just over a week and were thoroughly pleased. A great big house right near the beach on its own little secluded pocket of land.
Its also fantastically equipped!
Would recommend the property to anyone and we'll definitely be back.

Had a wonderful 4-night stay at Coastal Whispers with wife and young family. Kids loved the house, toys and games and it had plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. It was clean and very well kept in a nice secluded location.
We wished we had longer.

We had a wonderful 4 nights, one with our son and his young family. There are lots of things for young children to do, our granddaughter especially loved the doll's house. The walk to the beach is a little far and hard for littlies,( and oldies unfortunately) but it's only a 10 minute drive to lovely safe beaches and play areas. Even our dogs enjoyed their time. We will definitely be back, thank you Celia

Once again we had an enjoyable, relaxing time at 'Coastal Whispers.' This is the second time in a row we have rented this beautiful house nestled in bushland by the back beach in Rye and we were not disappointed! If you are looking for privacy than this is the place! Champagne on arrival; the house is clean and spacious with a huge kitchen; lots of board games ranging from ages 4 years to adulthood, there is a pool table, hammocks to relax in and an enclosed area for dogs. If you are wanting to visit the bay, 'Coastal Whispers' has everything you need to make your day at the beach relaxing i.e. shelter tents, beach chairs, etc. I would highly recommend this holiday house to any of my close friends with young families or couples for a romantic getaway. The house was fantastic, really neat and well provided with great cooking facilities. The location is great, just a short walk from the Rye back beach yet also feels very secluded. Had a very nice welcome gift of chocolates and champagne as well. Celia was always very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

The house felt so welcoming the minute we stepped in, it's like a home. Celia has stocked the kitchen with lots of essentials and even spoilt us with chocolates and good coffee.
The location is amazing, like having a private beach in your own backyard. I must say the Pool Table was a bonus, it kept us entertained till late at night. We had a fantastic time spending quality time with our loved ones. No interruptions and real serenity.

Very clean and neat home with a huge amount of entertainment provided for kids aged from the very young to us older adult kids.
My favorite part was sitting outside and hearing the waves crash on the beach which is literally a 2 minute walk down the road.
I would recommend this serene place to everyone because Celia really caters for all ages and i will be staying here again for sure! What a great relaxing weekend away myself and all friends had. Thank you very much Celia.

Very homely and welcoming, extremely private, peaceful and relaxing. a real beach getaway, the house is so close to the beach via the most gorgeous beach path and what a beautiful beach it was too!!We loved that we could go to sleep at night listening to roar of the ocean just over the dunes. Really close to horse riding center, hot springs and a 7 minute drive to Sorrento shops. Well kitted out house with lots of cute toys for younger kids to play with, the hammocks where great too. Celia the owner is great to communicate with and will do anything to ensure that you have a great relaxing break. We will definitely be returning for another visit!!!

I would highly reccomend this property. There was great communication between myself and the landlord and that made our stay a very comfotable and easy stay. The weekend we stayed was the weekend of our wedding and the surrounding made it very relaxing and enjoyable place to get ready at the morning of. If your looking for a relaxing holiday house this is definantly the one :)

Coastal Whispers is a perfect property for family. The house is neat, clean and quite with anyting you need. There is only 5 minutes walk to the beach where is a wonderful area for a walk with your dogs in the lovely morning. We will look foward to visiting again soon!

Dear Celia,
From the moment we drove up the winding driveway to your beach house - we loved it. Wonderful atmosphere, serene and quiet. The beach nearby was just magic. We loved sitting in the sand and relaxing with the waves, looking for sea shells and watching the birds.
The house had everything we wanted. We cooked amazing meals in the fabulous kitchen or on the outside BBQ and even had a herb garden for our use :)
We see our adult daughters only once a year - what a perfect place to be together and relax!!!!

A truly wonderful house for a holiday - well actually we'd all like to live there!! With teenagers and dogs it was all just perfect. Central to everything but not in the middle of the madness. Right on the start of fabulous walking tracks and so serene. Highly recommend this if you're looking for perfection.

Thank you Celia for a beautiful relaxing holiday at your home over Christmas and New Years. And yes I felt at home!!! It was just what my family needed....many hours spent dozing off in the hammocks; preparing delicous meals in the huge open kitchen; driving a few minutes to the safety beach in Rye to catch the excitment of the local carnival; walking to the end of the road to the ocean to watch brilliant sunsets and seals playing in the water whilst sipping a glass of champayne...we loved every minute of it! The perfect place for a holiday whether it be with family or for business or romance. Thanks again Celia and I look forward to returning.

Wonderful time in a tranquil and peaceful environment. House is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Listening to the local native birds chattering in the tea trees, hearing the waves pounding the beach and then meandering a short distance to an amazing wild beach is enough without more! But then of course you get the sunset's over the ocean!
Thanks Celia our family loved the home and for your warm hospitality.
Choc's lasted two hours which I think may be some sort of record!!
Yoda didn't seem too impressed when we had to leave and come home.

We loved this house! Spacious, warm and comfy, perfect for a winter weekend. When we drove up the driveway it was pouring with rain but walked inside and welcomed with chocolates and champagne with a lovely note from the owner. Very pleased with the place and would like to come again :)

This spacious, clean, comfortable house in a great location is an excellent value for money. It's got everything: 2 TVs, lots of videos, books, boardgames, toys, even billiards! The owners have taken a lot of thought about making the place pleasure to stay in. Celia was also very helpful in resolving our minor issues. Highly recommended!

We did a winter beach break and loved it! Cosy, warm nights & open sunlit house by day. Whether you're just relaxing listening to crashing waves over a cuppa, sitting on close by sand dunes, cooking a bbq or walking barefoot on the wild surf beach you will be recharged at an affordable price! 2 teens loved pooltable, flat screen, dvds,night visit to springs & dogs loved the security of own area, whilst we loved the welcome choccys & shampers. Celia & Coastal Whispers is heaven sent! Wish I was back there now!

I had a great stay at Coastal Whispers. there was ample space for everyone and many a cat to swing. The place is clean and appears to have almost everything you need. The area is quiet and it was lovely to hear the rolling waves. The replenishable larder (user restocking) was a life saver as i did forget a few essentials
(like milk). And the chocolate and champagne was a nice touch (wasn't expecting it). In all, a nice little weekend getaway. Definitely recommending it and return if possible.

We had a lovely 'girls' away weekend. The house was large and clean and suited our needs for long talks while watching chick flicks and eating chocolate. A walk to the nearby beach was refreshing as was the visit to the nearby Mornington Penninsula Hot Springs. The owner was very helpful and the booking system worked well. We would definately stay here again.

a beautiful secluded but easily acessed family or adults retreat,very close to the beach and only a short drive to the hot springs,the owner has thought of every requirement you could possibly need,its like home from home with lovely shell ornaments and those little things that make a house feel welcoming,the house is immaculately kept and everything is easy to find,it is very quiet and peaceful,and children and even the dogs are spoiled with their own secure area and kennels,we were so impressed that we cannot recommend it enough, you will be glad you stayed at coastal whispers.

An absolute package home nestled away for privacy but not too far away to the noise. Very spacious home plenty of room for everyone even the dogs have an area for them to enjoy Coastal Whispers. Ocean beaches nearby and boy wait to you see the waves and of course the lovely scenes. Rock pools are a fantastic area to dunk in if you like.
