Yallambee Cottage is a comfy and cosy cottage facing N.E., sleeps 12 consisting of Bed. 1: King size bed and a set of bunks, Bed. 2: Two sets of bunks, Bed. 3: Two singles which zipper together to make 2nd King size bed, Bed 4: Queen bed. (additional beds can be added to make for a flexible plan). Surf views from major rooms of Cottage. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, 500L refrigerator/freezer, 420L drinks fridge, food processor, blender, coffee plungers with crockery, cutlery, glassware for 12 etc. Separate lge Dining for 12 + on French Oak setting with rush seats. 2 X Colour TV, VCR, DVD, stereo/ radio, games and videos. FOXTEL. Telephone for incoming calls & Emergency only, Sydney and Central Coast phone books, mobile reception. Two full bathrooms, one with bath. Full internal laundry facilities but no dryer. ENORMOUS deck (10m x 7m) overlooking beach, bush & lagoon with large gas BBQ (spare bottle of gas). Outdoor setting for 10 & add. round setting for 4, sun lounges. Further setting for 8 on Hill taking in the fabulous views. Off street parking for 2-3 cars. Massport combustion \'open\' fireplace for Winter (wood supplied) and additional electric heating. BYO Hammock with cleats. Wireless & Broadband INTERNET access.
Unlike the few other beachhouses on MacMasters we sit slightly back and are protected from the Southerlys etc. so you can enjoy the deck. Copacabana faces directly South so is hit face on by the South weather.
Sorry, no Schoolies Groups, Bucks Nights or alike accepted, owing to past bad experiences. Non Smoking Area.
Location
Yallambee Cottage (meaning: resting place; watering hole) is aptly named because of its natural, serene & tranquil setting on a very large 1200 sq mtr beachfront block on the Central Coast, yet only 1 1/2 hrs Freeway drive North from Sydney Harbour Bridge OR 2 1/2 hrs by Train to Gosford & Bus to door. Direct access to the patrolled beaches (holiday times)of McMasters & Copacabana, 1 min fr. Cockrone Lagoon for safe swimming, kyaking and its nature reserve. Stroll across the sand to Copacabana for a newspaper, cafes, bakery, bottle shop etc. OR 5 min drive to Kincumber Village for late trading COLES supermarket, bottle shop, restaurants, pizza, KFC, MacDonalds, deli, butcher, chemist, Westpac, Hotel, PO, library for internet etc. 7 min walk to start of Bouddi National Park. 10 min drive to more sophistication of Terrigal & Crowne Plaza Hotel. Get involved OR just relax, either way the setting is TRUE PARADISE!!

Two beaches, Cockrone Lagoon for kyaking, canoeing & nature, surf clubs, beach fishing in front of cottage or from rocks 5 mins walk in either direction, rockpool at MacMasters end and seapool at Copacabana end, whale watching from deck or Captain Cook Lookout at Copacabana Headland & right back to Sydney, cafes, restaurants, galleries, golf courses, Kincumber driving range, 5 mins drive Bouddi National Park walking trails; 15 mins W. - Gosford Football Stadium, Shops, Train Station & Reptile Park; 10 mins S.- Killcare, Hardys Bay, Pretty Bch; 10 mins N.- Avoca, Terrigal; 15 mins Erina Shopping Fair to 200 + speciality shops (Thurs. & Fri. to 9pm), cinemas etc. Local Bus at door to Gosford, Kincumber, Erina Fair etc. with additional buses from Copacabana. Hunter Valley Wineries/Nelson Bay 1 1/2 hours drive away.
