This was a great place to relax. Like home away from home. It was very well equipped and the owner was only too ready to help in every way. It is well situated on the waterfront with great views down the beach. Our 4legged family had a wonderful time - their first time on a beach holiday. The main bedroom is amazing. Sun filled with an amazing view down the beach. Great place to relax with a good book. We had a fabulous week and look forward to repeating it next year.

This is definitely the best house in Culburra. We stayed with our family to attend our daughter's wedding and the stay at Escape just added to the enjoyment and pleasure of the wedding. The views are outstanding as is the quality of everything provided in the house. All the added extras just made our stay. We didn't expect to be provided with a portable cot and high chair. We would highly recommend this house.

A beautiful house in a magnificent location - best views in Culburra Beach.
We had 6 couples staying in adjacent properties (Escape@Culburra and Cully Beach House) and it worked a treat. Everyone raved that it was the best weekend away we had all had in years. Can't wait to do it again.

Our family spent the most wonderful 6 nights at this divine property, location is superb, house extremely well appointed, and you immediately feel at home. We were so sad to leave, expecially our lovely labrador who had a wonderful holiday with us. Jen has gone the extra mile to ensure that all her guests will have a really comfortable stay. Brilliant house and location and so well set up that we couldn't find a fault. It was wonderful that we could have the whole family (including Pepper the Yorkshire terrier) with us as so many properties of this quality don't allow dogs!

My husband & I just spent 4 wonderful days at the amazing "Escape" beach house. The house itself & its position on Culburra Beach were simply fantastic! The beach is dog friendly, which was ideal as we had our 4 legged friend with us. Jen had thought of everything to make our stay so wonderful & relaxing. From the beautiful decor to the attention to detail, this property is absolutely second to none & I hope it won't be too long before we get to stay again! Thanks again Jen!!

I can not stop talking about this place. Without doubt it's the best spot on Culburra beach and the house is designed to take in the breathtaking views. We have stayed in many beach houses over the years and "Escape" would be amongst the best we have experienced, delivering all we would hope to find and more.
The location could not be more perfect with private rolling lawns merging onto uninterrupted beach and ocean views....
Fabulously equipped house where every need has been catered for.. and the added bonus of our much loved dog being able to enjoy it too!
We will certainly return!

WOW! What a perfect holiday home. After reading the reviews on Stayz, we had high expectations for Escape but they were far exceeded upon visiting this gorgeous home! The physical location is incredible - we enjoyed lovely dinners on the deck with sweeping views of the ocean, and were even spoilt with some whale sightings. What impressed us the most, however, was the care and thought that Jen has put into creating the perfect holiday home. Everything that our 2 dogs, toddler and us adults could possible need was catered for. We loved every aspect of our stay at Escape and can't wait to visit again.

We just spent a fantastic week at Escape on Culburra Beach and cannot recommend it enough! The views are as good as it gets and the facilities in the house are absolutely top notch. We spent countless lazy hours in the sun reading, watching dolphins and whales play in the bay and wandering down to the beach for walks and swims. We've very much looking forward to going back again soon!

We just spent the most enjoyable few days at ���Escape���. The weather was just perfect, dolphins in the bay and we even saw a whale breaching in the distance. The house is in the most perfect location - very peaceful, and so close to the beach. Being light at 5:30am there were early morning walks with my Bichon and grandkids on the beach before breakfast. Although the water was quite cool at this time of the year, the kids still enjoyed catching waves, exploring the rock pools and spending low tide walking around the point. Late afternoons were spent lounging around your lovely house and relaxing and playing games. The layout of 'Escape' was perfect for me and it was so sad to leave after such a short time. I highly recommend this location and this property. It's location is perfect, the properties facilities are outstanding with everything you need for a holiday retreat. Thank you, Jen, so much for allowing us stay at your beautiful house. We had the most wonderful time. You must be very proud of your house. I have already recommended this property to my friends and will happily come back to stay again.

Escape is the perfect beach home, in the perfect location on the south coast's most perfect beach. So many beautiful touches to the home and inclusions in the kitchen, nothing has been left out to make two and four legged guests feel at home - Jen is a fantastic host! One of the few properties with such an exceptional view that has direct and easy access right on to the beach. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed staying in this lovely house. Everything was perfect. The owner was also very helpful and anxious that we should be happy there. The house had a welcoming air about it. The weather was cold and wet, but we were fine with the wood fire. Just one small comment - we could have done with more blankets at night as the dooners were not really warm enough. Apart from this, we had a relaxing and happy break away.

This was one of the easiest short holiday breaks we have had! What a great location, right on the beach with views to Gerroa from the back deck. Plenty of room to fit the family (and of course the four legged family members). Would highly recommend the 7k walk on the beach to start the day the right way. Excellent location, fabulous house.

This place was absolutely exquisite. We went down for my wife's Birthday with the extended family, and it was absolutely perfect. Amazing views, perfect facilities, cozy fireplace, I could not recommend this place any higher. There isn't one thing about this house that isn't outstanding. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and more than generous in every sense of the word. Really love place to relax. Very thoughtfully decorated and equipped. Owners helpful and easy to communicate with. Will most definitely be going back. We had such a good time on the beach and cycling and dog walking. Watching the sun go down over the beach with champagne in hand and a couple of tired happy dogs stretched out on the lawn a great way to chill out.

This was the easiest holiday we have ever had and the most relaxing!Escape is a lovely house that felt homey and comfortable too. All the basics were amply provided for and a new Woolworths was just down the road for all the rest. Not only was the daytime view spectacular(loved having a cuppa in bed while looking at the beach)but at night on the open deck the show of stars was breathtaking!

The house is in the best location in the area, with direct beach access and amazing views. It was set up with every detail thought of-from the Nespresso machine to the outdoor games for the kids. We were more than happy to relax in the house during rainy days as it is so beautifully appointed. We will definitely recommend Escape to friends and hope to return!

Escape is the best holiday house our family has stayed in. We repeatedly uttered 'Wow!' the first time we entered the house and saw the captivating 180 degree view of the beach. It took our breath away!
My brother (bookworm) loved sitting out in the deck with a book while my mum (chef) enjoyed making the most of the quality kitchen. Our little dog was busy running around the beach morning and night; and I loved waking up to the sound of the fresh, strong ocean waves.
Jen was a fantastic host - her responses to our questions were prompt and helpful; and we appreciated her genuine efforts to make our stay comfortable and memorable, including by providing complimentary wine and the cake :)
We hope to be back again next year (and the year after... and the year after)!

This house is amazing. It's the 5 star luxury living of holiday houses. The location and views were amazing, we saw whales and dolphins from the house and it is so well fitted out that it is definately a home away from home. Very thoughtfully done making a holiday as easy as possible -from the pantry supplies, dvds, book supply and everything instrument you could need in the kitchen. Location at Tilbury cove end also good for small children as lots of rockpools. 5 stars!

This is THE ideal beach house to stay in. The owners have transformed a 3 bedroom home into a wonderful contemporary beach house that has every convenience. A modern, well equipped kitchen opens to stylish dining and living areas and doors open to expansive decks and the beautiful terraced garden that leads to the beach. Views from the house are spectacular. We saw whales and dolphins playing off shore as we dined on the deck. It is impossible not to like this place.

This house is perfect for the quiet get away. It has expansive ocean views, is beautifully furnished, nice and cosy open living spaces with well stocked cupboards and kitchen.. Our dogs loved the house, gardens and the beach was perfect for fishing and long walks. We were lucky enough to also see whales everyday of our stay! We will be back again. I think all the previous messages pretty much sum up how fantastic this place is. The house becomes your home with everything you could think of being provided and more. The location and aspect are superb and the owners provide you with all the information to fill your holidays. My kids cried when we left which pretty much summed up our reluctance to have to leave this idyllic little gem.

This house is amazing. The expansive ocean view, the cosy fireplace, the sun filled living room.....ahhhhh so good.
We loved staying here and the owners have made an enormous effort to make you feel at home. Everytime you open a door, cupboard or draw you are blown away by the attention to detail. The environment created here resonates harmony and if you are feeling the stresses of life then this place will heal you. We will absoloutley be coming back here for many more years to come.

Lovely, well appointed house which takes excellent advantage of the amazing views across Culburra Beach. Our two little dogs and the kids loved the big deck and grassy area which took advantage of the view. Lots of little extras like books, games and toys to keep us amused after hours as well as a really well stocked kitchen. We'd definitely love to go back!

Esacpe is an excellent beach house, very comfortable inside and with the best-equipped kitchen of any holiday rental I've stayed in. The house is recently renovated, so everything in shiny and new and works properly. The views and direct access to the beach are the icing on a very tasty cake.

" We were fortunate to secure this great house at an amazing location in January. From the moment we arrived and throughout the week we were impressed by the thought that had gone into establishing a fantastic self-contained holiday house. We cooked everynight (a pleasure in the large, well-equipped kitched) and drove to nearby locations for lunch. The beach access is great, especially with kids. Early morning tea and toast in bed staring out at the ocean from the superb main bedroom view the highlight for us. We will definitely return"

As they say in real estate lingo..location, location, location.. and this house certainly has one of the best you could ask for. From the moment you walk through the front door the amazing view will captivate you and hold you in its spell for the rest of your stay. And when the waves call you its just a short stroll across the back yard and you are on the beach. The house has been recently renovated by the owners so everything is new and very clean. The owners have thought of pretty much everything to make your stay comfortable including magazines,games and a great DVD selection. The kitchen is very well equipped and the generous owners have even left a few supplies in the pantry just to make you feel at home. The bottle of red was also a nice touch! We���ve just enjoyed the gorgeous garden outlook and beach view from the enormous deck, fabulous kitchen and living areas of Escape@Culburra. The main Bedroom-retreat offers even more sensational views and the hum of relaxing waves to put you to sleep. This newly renovated, tastefully fitted house-on-the-beach has a wonderfully equipped kitchen, big, deep bath, fluffy towels and luxurious linen and bedding (usually) included. The generous owners have added many inclusions that make you feel welcome to be there. We would thoroughly recommend it as a place to go and enjoy being, whatever the weather, inside and out. Plenty of magazines, books, games, movies if you get sick of the garden, beach, lake and river. Only thing missing was an unrigged dice, but we���ve spent the 50c to rectify that, so now there���s nothing missing!
