Shipley Manor is situated on two acres backing onto National Park with expansive views of Kanimbla Valley. The Manor is French Provincial Style and is the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst taking in the magical view of the mist rolling up the valley and the ever changing spectacle of light over the rugged cliffs. One end of the house has a parents retreat with it's own slow combustion fireplace and bathroom with a double shower and a bath big enough for two! The large timber dining table is perfect for family lunch or formal dining with a large open fire place. Outdoor dining is also available on a paved area including gas BBQ. The spacious country style kitchen is well equipped for all cooking requirements. There is a separate large lounge room with views and an abundant array of books and DVDs. There is also a studio apartment (unavailable to guests) on the end of the house which is up stairs and has its own separate secluded driveway & entrance and is wheel chair accessible

Bedroom Details:
Bedroom 1 - King size bed with tables, lamps,TV, slow combustion fireplace, small sofa, an adjoining separate bedroom (see bedroom 2 for details), private bathroom also including a walk through library with desk. This area also has a library with desk. The area containing bedroom 1 & 2 are separate to the rest of the house.
Bedroom 2 - Tri Bunk (Double with single bed on top).
Bedroom 3 - Queen bed with walk in wardrobe, sofa bed and ensuite.
Bedroom 4 - Round room with Tri bunk (Double with single bed on top)
Bedroom 5 - Queen bed with side tables and lamps
Bedroom 6 - Two single beds

Linen:
Linen supplied - This includes Doona's, blankets, pillows, sheets, pillow slips, 1 towel each, bathmat(s) and tea towels. Electric Blankets are on all beds.

Bathrooms:
Bathroom 1 - Main bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet.
Bathroom 2 - En-suite to bedroom 1 has a bath big enough for two, double sinks, double shower and toilet.
Bathroom 3 - Ensuite to bedroom 3 with old iron bath and toilet.
Also separate toilet off the kitchen.

Lounge Rm: Large lounge room with ample seating, views overlooking Kanimbla Valley, TV, DVD, CD player with iPod and USB connections. Great selection of books and DVD's.

Kitchen: Open plan kitchen/dining room with luxurious leather timber dining setting for twelve with a large open fire place and TV. There are also 4 bar stools around the kitchen island. The modern, country kitchen is a well-equipped including dishwasher, refrigerator, electric oven/stove top, microwave, kettle,toaster and cutlery and crockery.

Dining: Open plan kitchen/dining

Laundry: Washing machine, dryer, iron facilities and outdoor clothes line.

Heating: Open fireplace WOOD SUPPLIED and stacked behind the Fireplace in the Kitchen. Several electric space heaters and column heaters throughout and a Slow Combustion Fireplace in Bedroom 1.

Pets: Well behaved pets allowed. No fencing to keep pets in.

Parking: Off street parking for 6 cars

Outdoor: Outdoor setting and Gas BBQ over looking Kanimbla Valley.

  • "Beautiful house, beautiful furnishings, very comfortable beds with very warm doonas and great views. Has everything you need in the kitchen. Definitely a must to stay. Only criticism is that it took a couple of minutes for the hot water to kick in."
