This sunny second storey granny flat sits above our family home and has it's own private balcony with a lovely view of the garden and treetops.

Can accommodate 2 adults and 2 small children (lounge has a double sofa bed and portacot/toddler bed/single bed can be provided on request)

You will have a large bedroom with a comfortable Queen size Bed and BIR's. The flat includes reverse cycle heating & cooling in the bedroom, gas heating in lounge, dining table and chairs, TV/Digital set top box & DVD player, Stereo, Kitchenette (no sink, but easy to use bathroom sink) with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, mini oven with 2 hotplates, sandwich toaster, rice cooker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and washing machine.

It is quiet and private, clean and comfortable with private access along the side of the house.

We offer full use of our large garden with BBQ facilities.

We are very child friendly and can offer the use of a pram, highchair, baby bath, baby car capsule and toddler car seat, outdoor swing, cubby house, trampoline, kids bikes, scooters and LOTS of baby and children's toys.

Altona

We are approx. 12 km's from the City and 10 minutes by car to Williamstown Beach, Yarraville, Seddon, Footscray, Newport, Flemington Racecourse, Highpoint S.C. We are 25mins by car to CBD, TelstraDome, Victoria Market,
along with all the great facilities Melbourne has to offer.

We are only a 10 minute walk along the beach path to Altona Village and Pier. Altona is home to many pelicans and black swans.
Altona has great cafes and restaurants, where you can relax with a glass of wine or coffee. There are numerous parks/playgrounds and the lake is a short walk away. We have two supermarkets within walking distance.

There is also a bus stop outside the property which goes to Footscray. The Westona train station (Werribee/Laverton line) is a 5 minute walk away, the CBD is a 40 minute train trip away. Unfortunately a recent timetabling change has resulted in the need to get off at North Melbourne Station and change trains. Most guests find it easier to hire a car to navigate Melbourne as it is a large and sprawling city.

Facilities

We will be in the main house ready to assist in making your stay comfortable, whilst respecting your privacy.
We have a very gentle golden retriever so if you don't like pets we probably aren't the best place for you to stay.

You will have access to the large garden, BBQ and outdoor furniture. We offer FREE use of Broadband wireless internet.
We like to respect your privacy, and also enjoy being able to assist making your stay in Melbourne relaxed. Light breakfast provisions are also supplied daily. Bed Linen is changed weekly. Self catering style accommodation for a cheaper rate is an option for longer term stays.

Minimum 2 night stay.
