One entire wall of glass concertina doors opens up completely extending the generous living space right out in to the bay. Close up the doors at night and light a fire in the open fireplace for a night's board games, video or cable TV (all provided). You won't want to go anywhere once you've arrived.

We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house. My husband is in training for a 750km kayak race in Canada starting 26th June, The Yukon River Quest Kayak Race, back to compete for the 5th time and my son is heading off to the Mauritious Ocean Classic 24th June, so the boys enjoyed training on the water while the girls and children walked the beach, cycled, sat by the fire and ate beautiful meals.

We spent 3 nights at The Beach House and it wasn't enough. Spent all day the backyard with our dogs and admiring the beautiful view this property offers. The evenings we spent warm and cosy with all Foxtel channels. Whether a couple, a family of just a dog lover this place cannot be faulted and is even better than the pictures show.

We stayed for three nights and had our wedding ceremony on the stairs in the backyard overlooking Callala Bay. The reception was also held in the backyard and with 37 guests it was the perfect size. The owner, Brian, was extremely helpful, friendly and very accommodating.
We would definitely recommend The Beach House to friends and family and will be back.

This place is superb! What a view, what a location, and Brian the owner was so accommodating for our week stay. We had our wedding on Callala Beach after Xmas and this house was used by the bride and bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding, as well as brunch for guests the next day. With the spacious living area and reserve out the back, it makes for such a good social venue and our friends and family raved about it. We loved staying there and were certainly sad to leave when our time was up.
Thank you to Brian for everything. We highly recommend the Beach House for a great holiday getaway!

Beautiful location and lovely, comfortable, well equipped house. After exploring the house and deciding which bed he wanted my 7 y.o. laid down and said "I feel like a Prince!". We had a great time at the bay, kayaking, playing ping pong & board games, BBQs,sleeping, reading. Don't plan on too many activities away from the house as you wont want to leave - everything is there. Thanks for a great week, we will be back!

Our second time at the Beach House and it certainly did not disappoint - just as magical as our first visit. When you walk through the house to the view of the water it just takes your breath away and you know you are in for a lovely relaxed holiday. Once again the 'Highlanders' settled in and enjoyed their stay. With us also was an 82 year young Scottish friend who made it her job to light the fire each evening for our comfort and enjoyment. Meeting Brian and his dog when we arrived was just great - thank you once again Brian for allowing us to have such a wonderful stay. See you next year.

Thank you so much Brian for agreeing to allow us to use your property for our wedding reception - we had an amazing stay! Upon arrival the house was prepared beautifully with chocolates next to every bed, a chilled bottle of champagne and a stock pile of fire wood for the open fireplace. So many of our guests commented on the house and the view that the house allowed; one of our favourite aspects was the open fire and the sound of the waves coming into the bay. It has made for some amazing photos and unforgettable memories.

I got married at The Beach House and our wedding was wonderful! We hired a marquee for the park out the back of the house for 80 people. We had the ceremony under the trees with the sea in the background. The setting was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the view from The Beach House was one of the highlights, we didn't want to leave! This house has the "WOW" factor the minute you open the front door. You can see straight through to the magnificent bay and instantly you feel relaxed. Not to mention when you do take your eyes off the bay that Brian has left a fruit bowl full of delicious fruit, chocolates by every bed and a chilled bottle of champagne in the fridge.
We had the most relaxing holiday and our dog enjoyed walking along the beach just as much as we did, we were even entertained on two occasions by the resident dolphins who came in quite close to the shore to play.
We are already planning our next visit,

The views hit you from the moment you walk through the front door. Absolutely stunning beachfront right there at your doorstep. I wanted somewhere special to take my parents while they were visiting from overseas and The Beach House was perfect. Without doubt this was the most pleasant stay we have had on the South Coast. The house was magnificent, the views were something else and the surrounding attractions made for a most enjoyable experience. Not one thing to worry about with either kids (plenty to do) or pets (safely enclosed). The chocolates, champagne and lovely flowers on arrival were a wonderful gesture and immediately we felt at home. The warm fire made it very cosy during the colder nights. I cannot recommend the house and location highly enough. We will be back.

For us it is all about the dogs!
We have stayed at a number of "doggie friendly" accommodations all of which I have been delighted with. However,The Beach House is the first I've come across that is truly completely fenced (especially for little dogs)where I could relax and had no need to continually check if all dogs were OK. Needless to say I am always concerned the dogs may find a way out - hence my first impressions are always about the dogs.
We arrived and checked the front yard before opening the front door and realised we could get the dogs out of the car into the front yard with no problems. Then while I checked the backyard (with the dogs madly barking to be let loose)I was very presently surprised to find the area completely safe and we were going to have a very relaxed stay.
Thank you for allowing us to take the '4 Highlanders' on holiday, they enjoyed themselves immensley (and so did we).We hope to revisit again in the near future.
The champagne, chocolates and beautiful fresh orchids put a wonderful touch to very comfortable and delightful accommodation with the most magnificent view imaginable. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful time here again this year.
Our teenage kids had plenty to do with kayaks and ping pong, a giant television and delicious comfortable beds to tuck into at night after an evening in front of the raging fire.
We will be back soon, and plan to see the dolphins leaping out the front between the yachts and go and see the whales heading north as soon as we can.
Love this house and holiday.
Sad to leave such beauty and comfort.

We stayed at the Beach House for five nights along with our labrador Nellie. The location and view are fantastic. The house is extremely well equipped. Flowers, chocolates and wine were an added surprise. A lovely roaring fire of an evening added to the ambience as did the gigantic full moon rising over the bay. Nellie loved the garden and the amount of activity along the bay.

We had our wedding and reception at the Beach House. It was the perfect venue for our small amount of guests with just the relaxed and casual atmosphere I wanted. Brian was a pleasure to deal with and the extra touches at the house (numerous towels, a big bowl of apples on the coffee table and little boxes of chocolates on the beds) made our stay. Whether you're looking for just a weekend away or a place to have a small wedding reception I can definitely recommend this venue!

We couldn't have asked for more with two little kids - a couple of steps to the beach, playground and a wonderful comfortable home, and they view - wow!

We had a wonderful time at 'The Beach House'. 6 adults and 3 kids were comfortable, happy and relaxed. The location is perfect for people with children as it is close to the bay, yet fence provides peace of mind. The kids also adored the play equipment which is located just outside the fence. We had a perfectly relaxing weekend at the Beach House. It was perfect for my mother-in-law with limited mobility as there are absolutely no steps from the front gate to the back deck.
The kids loved the Austar, the bunk beds, the games room, the board games, the playground straight out the gate and the vast expanse of beach. Next time it might be warm enough to get the kayaks out.
The adults loved the view, champagne sunsets, family dinners, coffee and papers in the sun, the bookcase and wine by the fireplace.
The dog loved the tiled floor, the parade of other dogs, the magpies, the beach and snoozing by the fire.
All in all, something for everyone with beautiful touches like champagne, chocolates (dog loved those...), fresh flowers, etc. Very thoughtful. We'll be back!

The crackling fireplace with dreamscape views, lazing back with some mulled wine and cheese what more could you ask for.
Having chats with locals on the dock catching fish and saying hello to the seal that napped in the sun whilst witnessing the splash of dolphins swimming between the boats on the harbour. It was the perfect winter escape and also for the dogs, they went to the beach every day which gave us the chance to explore the bay also.

We had such a fantastic weekend at the Beach House! A group of 10 of us popped down from Sydney to celebrate a couple of birthdays in the group and it was the perfect getaway. There was plenty of room for all of us and the facilities were excellent. It made it so easy not having to worry about linen and towels! I would definately recommend the beach house and would love to stay there again.

The Beach House is beautiful and so comfortable, very quickly feeling like "home"! It was such a wonderful week though we found it very exhausting sittng on the verandah counting pelicans and ducks, keeping check on the boats coming and going, fishing from the jetty and strolling along the beach! Next time we may even get around to paddling the kayaks. Our dog sat on the hill and played queen of all she surveyed. Thankyou.

The house was comfortable and attractively decorated- no doilies in sight! The living room opened out fully onto a delightful verandah with a beautiful view of the bay.
Our dog was very happy and the dads just loved playing in the games room. We all greatly valued the proximity of the shops, the jetty and boat ramp and the accessibility of such great beaches. The cycling opportunities are great, and the whole community cycles.

We were 4 adults & 4 kids (ages 14, 9, 3 & 2) and honestly? This house was perfect for ALL of us - each and every age.
The house was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The view over the bay was an ever changing scene with each shift of daylight.
The beds and linen were hotel grade.
We used the kayaks, the fireplace, the games room and didn't have time for the board games, tennis, badminton sets.
We just wished we could have stayed longer.
Would recommend this place to everyone.

We had a fantastic time. The house is amazing and what a view. Lovely little extras to welcome us - chocolates on our bedside tables and a crisp bottle of bubbly was chilled for our arrival. We played a game of scrabble, shared a wine or two or three warming our toes round the fire, ate meals fit for a king, watched a girlie flick 'momma mia' on Austar, tried our talents in canoeing/kayaking and got very wet (we didn't care we were laughing too much) visited the whitest sand in the world and topped it off with a whale watch cruise. We are still talking and laughing about the weekend away and sharing the funny photos. Thanks again for letting us share the 'Beach House.'

We relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. It is difficult to find such high quality accommodation that accepts pets, our goldens loved being able to walk out the back gate onto the beach. We've stayed here every year for 4 years and think it is the most perfect house for our group of friends. 6 adults, 2 kids & 3 dogs.
There is plenty of space, a bathroom for each family & now this year with the addition of the family room it is fantastic. The views are perfect at all times of the day ... we relax as soon as we walk in the door. There's a kids playground just to the left of the back gate also which was a nice surprise that first year.
The water was warm & crystal clear. Particularly on week days you can walk up the other end of the beach and you have it to yourself.
Extremely relaxing! We'll be back again next year. It is very difficult to head home after such a perfect weekend.

Our stay at the Beach House was just wonderful. It is always hard to find such accommodation that allows pets (dog).
The close proximity to the water is a bonus and the relaxing view was lovely. My partner has had a stroke and his balance is a little out of whack, but the impressive stairs down to the reserve to the water was a breeze for him and being able to walk straight into the water was also a big plus for us.
The beautiful big kitchen allowed for some great meals to be prepared and the open fire place was just great on the nights that where a little cold. The bed in one of the main rooms was so comfortable and the bathrooms where roomy and very clean.
We loved our stay and hope to book the house again soon.
