A fully self contained light filled beach house/cottage with 3 bedrooms that accomodates 6 comfortably but can sleep 8. Fully equiped kitchen. A bonus is the huge games shed with table tennis, foozball, poker table & kids climbing frame, toy kitchen, boogie boards, bikes & ride on toys. Postitioned on the river side of Hitchcock avenue so no need to cross busy Hitchcock Ave to get to the beach which is a 2 min walk. Alfreds' is also dog friendly outside only with a lock up yard and green lush garden. Sorry we cannot have cats stay.
Positioned on Hitchcock Avenue you have quirky shops & cafes on your doorstep & only a stones throw to the Jetty for fishing. Or use our bikes to explore but you will need to bring a helmet.
Off street parking for two cars or a car and boat.

We found the property to have everything we needed. Our dog enjoyed the secured yard. The rooms were very homely and the extra touches that Penny provided were very welcomed. The located of the house was excellent for walking to the shops, beach and oval.

What wonderful accommodation. Perfect for my husband & I, our 2 preschool aged children and our German Shepherd dog. All the boxes were ticked. We couldn't get my son off the toy digger and my young daughter loved the little car & other toys. A great sized & secure back garden for our beloved dog. Our kids are still talking about their holiday and want to go back. Highly recommend this property.

Great location, literally minutes walk from bakeries, cafes and supermarkets. Very cosy, quirky house, large backyard and good outdoor sitting area. Penny was a fantastic communicator throughout the whole booking process! Strongly recommend Annie's Provedore for breakfast, yum!

Quaint cosy cottage with plenty of room to move. Well equiped, it had everything we needed and then some. Nice and close to shops, restaurants and the beach. I stayed with my grown up children and we all had a great stay. Well fenced yard for our 2 little dogs.
Penny was fantastic to deal with, she couldn't do enough for us.
Our experience at Alfreds was perfect, we all loved the area and are hoping to visit again. When we do I will be calling on Penny!

This lovely and cosy yet spacious cottage is the ideal getaway for a family with young children. The backyard is huge and there is all these toys, games and books to keep the kids entertained for hours. There is a lovely BBQ patio in the back, just made for chilling out. It is also close to the river and shops. The owners are lovely and helpful to deal with. I warmly recommend it!

Fantastic property. Enjoyed the easter break and ANZAC parade on ANZAC day. So close to beach and shops. We brought our bikes up and explored Barwon heads - the kids loved it. The house was so kid friendly. Cant wait to come again - kids are already planning for next easter. A must for all to stay at 'Alfreds on Hitchcock'.!!!!!

Fantastic house in Barwon Heads. We had a great weekend. Great fenced backyard for our kids and dog. The highlight of the trip had to be the outside toys for our children. It made our trip a pleasure as they were constantly occupied. 5 stars for a great holiday house!

We had a lovely weekend at Alfred's on Hitchcock. Penny was a wonderful host who did everything to ensure we would be comfortable for our stay. House was well-equipped and the backyard was heaps of fun for the kids. Well located, a nice easy stroll down to the shops and cafes.

Had an awesome time, great house in awesome location, very close to shops and beach.
Highly recommended and very cheap for such quality accomodation. Much better value for us than staying in hotel.

Fantastic house that was immaculately presented. It was in such a great location we could walk everywhere we needed to in Barwon Heads. Such a big back yard with plenty of equipment/toys for the children to play with. The backyard was great for our dog as well. Thank you for such a great stay.... we will definitely be coming back.

Lovely,comfortable house with a very relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of games and entertainment for the kids. Spacious, tidy backyard.Lots of little extras that provided for a wonderful break, no matter what the weather.
