Beach Break at Spoon

Description

Spoon Bay is located less than 1 hour and 25minutes from Sydney CBD. It is at the secluded Northern end of the Terrigal/Wamberal beach strip on the Central Coast of NSW. It is only a few minutes drive south to the cafes and restaurants of Terrigal. The large Bateau Bay Shopping centre is five minutes drive to the north. Golf, swimming, tennis, diving, surfing, ice skating are all regular sports the Central Coast provides, and more. Bring your fishing equipment and enjoy beach fishing from the nearby beaches. The Entrance has pelican feeding at 3pm each day and there are plenty of art galleries to view. There are many bush walks with spectacular views in the area.
Linen, (sheets, pillowslips and bath towels), is included in the tarriff.

Accomodation

'Beach Break, at Spoon' has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to seven people in total. The main bedroom has a king size bed, second bedroom has a queen size bed, loft bedroom has a queen size bed and a single (trundle).
The living, dining, kitchen and loft areas enjoy the lovely water and bush views.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped, and the bbq can be easily moved between the two decks.
The main bathroom has a spa bath plus toilet and the second bathroom has a shower and toilet.

Beaches

From the large partly covered main deck there are wonderful views of Wamberal Beach down to The Haven at Terrigal and Wamberal Lagoon.
Less than five minutes walk (about 300 metres in total) you will be on the beautiful Spoon Bay and Jewfish Bay with the sand continuing on past Wamberal all the way to Terrigal. We find Jewfish Bay (the second bay ie between Spoon and Wamberal) the safest for a refreshing dip. You can walk along the sand to Wamberal for a patrolled surf beach.
Up the hill and on your right you will find Forrester's Beach where you can often watch or participate in some sensational surfing, as well as enjoy an invigorating beach walk to the northern end of Forrester's Beach.
