Fraser Island has abundant Fishing and is a Birdwatchers paradise with many of the islands birds observed from the expansive deck of Waiuta Retreat in the surrounding bushland and adjacent Great Sandy National Park. Well signed posted walking/hiking tracks provide access to inland lakes and rain forest etc. While those who want a little more action 4WD/motocross vehicle tracks provide access all over the island.
There is something for everyone here on the island from romantic getaways, family-fun holidays or wilderness action/adventure, social groups, business retreats/team building.
