  • "Had a wonderful weekend at Manna Gum Cottage. The cottage is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with just the sounds of wildlife. The cottage has everything you need and is lovely and cosy, the water pressure in the huge shower is awesome. The owners are lovely and leave you to do your own thing but are there to help if you need. I met Stanley the wombat and also did a couple of the bushwalks adjoining the property. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy nature but still being only 10minutes from Bright for shopping and restaurants."

  • "The Manna Gum cottage is privately situated on a lovely property just outside Bright. We had a fantastic long weekend there. The cottage is well-equipped and Trevor, Lizzie and Dora the dog were wonderful hosts allowing us to meet the alpacas and Bindi the wombat. There was an abundance of wildlife - we woke up to a wallaby outside the window, many kookaburras, and saw a couple of wild wombats. For those that like the outdoors there is so much to do in this region with mountain biking, cycle paths and great walks in the many national parks. We recommend the "Big Walk" up Mount Buffalo, the views were amazing and the terrain diverse. We highly recommend Manna Gum cottage - we drove past some of the more expensive resort apartments in the area such as Dreamers and Svarmisk and Manna Gum was so much nicer."

We were lucky enough to stay over the Bright Autumn festival, lots were happening and we explored the beautiful places closed by. The Alpacas farm was another experience of its own... we enjoyed getting up close and personal with these girls... thanks trevor and lizzy in providing us lovely accommodation for this unforgettable holiday.   • "My husband & I spent a weekend in the Manna Gum Cottage in March of this year and we were absolutely delighted with the accommodation. The cottage was beautifully decorated, with all amenities a couple could want to have a relaxing and romantic weekend away. The location was nestled among the forest with bird and wildlife galore. We got to meet with the resident rescued wildlife - a curious wombat called Bindi and her best friend Dora the dog. If you want a peaceful, break away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then this is the place for you. However, if you fancy taking a trip to the local town for a nice meal or quiet drink, taxi's will pick you up and drop you off for around $15 each way, so you can venture further afield if you want. We're definitely going back, that's how much we enjoyed it."
