"Bamboo Cottage has something special, something unique, mysterious, intangible but real! Maybe its the lush tropical gardens, decks, ponds, fountains, walkways and statues of Indonesian goddesses and Buddha's. Maybe it's the blend of Asian and Pacific decor or perhaps the lovely original 1930's workmans cottage.....totally renovated to keep the character yet adding all modern expectations. Or maybe its the good beds, the great people, a melting pot of Australian and international travellers, all with interesting tales to share. Maybe its the position, the secret hidden paradise...so peaceful and yet so close to the buzz of Byron. It could be the fair and affordable rates or the friendly "home away from home" ambience. Whatever it is......it's certainly my choice of place to stay in the bay".
