Situated on the Brisbane River, this lovely spacious apartment (1600sq ft) has recently been renovated and includes: 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate laundry, 2 balconies and an open-plan kitchen/dining/study/living area. It is well appointed with quality and contemporary furniture and appliances.
It features a brand new kitchen with stone benchtop, new European appliances including dishwasher and Induction cooktops.
One balcony over looks the quiet street while the other larger balcony looks out to the Brisbane River over the swimming pool - allowing you to monitor any older children in the pool. This balcony also has 6 burner BBQ and outdoor seating.
The living room has a 47" Sony flat-screen TV with Foxtel IQ2 to keep the men happy and a Playstation 3 to keep the kids (and the young at heart) entertained. Games are not provided so bring your favourite games or hire them from one of the video stores nearby.
The study area has a touch-screen computer with built-in webcam and speakers (perfect for Skype) to stay in touch with your family while you're away on holiday or business trip. Free broadband Internet is supplied and can be accessed via a wireless hotspot using the computer provided or your laptop and/or smartphone.
Master bedroom over looking the Brisbane has ensuite, California (extra large) King size bed and flat screen TV. Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed and window over looking the street. Bedroom 3 has two single beds and a balcony.
Your year round comfort is assured with ducted reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans in every bedroom.
The apartment complex has a swimming pool, gym, sauna, lift and stair access, intercom system for security. Secured parking is available on request. All windows and sliding doors are fitted with CrimSafe screens for further piece of mind.
A complementary secured parking bay is provided. There are also guest parking bays available within the complex. Residential parking permits can also be provided on request, for street parking.
For those who travels with baby, we can provide you a port-a-cot and high chair - free of charge.
The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood with a relaxed holiday feel, it's hard to believe that it's only few minutes away from the CBD and other Brisbane attractions. Beautiful parks are just around the corner featuring great kids playgrounds, river/city views, outdoor BBQ/picnic areas and rock climbing.
And if walking along the river bank is not your thing, you might want to catch the ferry or the CityCat. Ferry stations are located in walking distance to the apartment. A sightseeing CityCat trip up and down the Brisbane River is highly recommended.
If you prefer a healthy and environmentally friendly way to discover Brisbane, we recommend CityCycle bike. CityCycle is a world-class public bike hire service with 150 bike stations located in the inner city and surrounding suburbs of Brisbane. There are 3 stations located just few minutes walk away from the apartment.
When you've done the 'obligatory' tourist stuff, you'll appreciate being in the lovely surroundings of your own private resort. Fabulous restaurants, jazz club, iconic pub, liquor store, grocery/convenience stores, hairdresser & beautician are in walking distance.
