Sambar Park is fortunate to occupy a unique 80 acre parcel of land in the heart of the Howqua Valley, which takes in a magnificent 1.3km sweep of private river frontage. The house sits on a ridge with commanding valley views and the rear boundary abutts State Forest and Alpine National Park; a magnificent area to explore.
Just being there, watching the kangaroos, the wildlife and breathing in the fresh mountain air, is an experience of a lifetime. If you eant some action, the recreational opportunities within the property, and at your doorstep, offer something for everyone.
The house is designed to take full advantage of the magnificent position. Built from local stone, the open plan design of 40+ squares offers an inviting living area whether its for 2 or 12 people.
Massive wooden beams support the vaulted timber ceiling of the living area which features a sunken lounge around a huge stone fireplace, a popular place to reflect on the day.
Bedrooms consist of main bedroom with queen bed and ensuite, 2 large downstairs bedrooms with a queen bed, king single with trundle and a bunkroom.
A magnificent Tasmanian ash kitchen with W.I. pantry and breakfast bar.
Open plan living with 2 lounge areas and dining for 10 - 12 people.
Indoor spa room that opens up to the outside terrace.
Covered outdoor entertaining area consists of a hooded barbeque, seating for 10 - 12 people and outdoor fireplace for those evenings you want to sit outside and enjoy the peace and tranquilty of this magnificent property.
