Buchanan Rest is a miners cottage located in the beautiful town of Beech Forest. It is within one hour of some of the most spectacular coast Australia has to offer. From the fishing town of Apollo Bay through to Cape Otway lightstation, Johanna Beach with its famous surf breaks and on to the 12 apostles and Port Campbell. You can plan your short day trips and explore the coast from this private base. If ocean views get too much relax at home and enjoy the spectacular rural view from your verandah which takes you some 300kms away to the Grampians. Stroll to the local cafe for brunch and then take in some of the waterfalls all within a few kilometres of town. The cottage boasts an undercover BBQ area and all facilities to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
