We offer a beautiful beachfront holiday house where you can sit back and enjoy the magnificent views of Coobowie Bay to the lights of Edithburgh and Wind Farm. Sleeping offers 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 double, 2 bunks), tastefully decorated includes modern and quality features. The living / Dining Bed 1 and Bed 2 all have full width sliding doors to front deck and views. Lay back in bed and have that first cup of tea staring at the ocean views and weather of the day. Grass lawns to front for kids play and bocce....
The house comes with a fully equipped kitchen and dishwasher, loungeroom has a 50" Plasma TV with PS3 Player, iPhone sounds system and dock, (30 pin plug), and Reverse Cycle Airconditioner. Ceiling Fans add to comfort.
Quilts and pillows are provided all you need to bring our your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mat & teatowels.
The backyard is fully fenced making it safe for small children and pets are welcome (By Approval).
There is ample car parking for cars, boats and trailers.
We provide a fish cleaning sink/area (there's plenty of fish to catch in these and nearby waters).
There is a gas bbq and outdoor setting.
Locality
Coobowie is 2.5 hours drive from Adelaide. Nestled between Stansbury and Edithburgh. Coobowie is the perfect holiday destination for those who wish to escape from the city life. You can spend your days watching the pelicans, fishing, walking on the beach, reading or just taking in the beautiful view.
Attractions
Great fishing at your doorstep, (boat ramp and jetty 5km away at Edithburgh - charge for boat launch here, but best facilities for larger boats). Alternative free ramp at Hickeys Road - which is an extension of Beach Road, 1.2klms away or Wool Bay free ramp.
Tennis courts, playground, General Store and Hotel a 10min walk. The general store has long hours approx 8-8pm and also has in-house fresh cooked chickens, the best hot chips on Yorke Penninsula and yummy hot dogs and pies pasty's etc.
Golf course and outdoor markets at nearby Stansbury.
Dine out at the many hotels and cafes nearby. Coobowie Hotel has Calamari Schnitzels in a very friendly and old fashioned atmosphere. Hosts Travis and Trudy are fantastic support.
The Dalrymple Hotel at Stansbury has a very upmarket menu, with modern touches, a more typical Adelaide hotel menu.

Beautiful spot of paradise, and very clean . Had a wonderful eight days of relaxation. My wife is partially disable and it was safe for her to get around the house and property. Can't wait to come back .

A great beach home with wonderful views. We had a very relaxing couple of days and caught lots of fish and squid. We loved that our dog could come too. Only problem was we had to leave....

Wow! lovely location and a lovely home. A very well equipped home. we needed for nothing!
Made even better with the dogs being able to come. the daily walk along the beach ensured a good night sleep for all (kids included).

Smooth Sailing is a wonderful beach front property & is ideally located for sightseeing the rest of the area.
Accommodation is very clean, well equipped & best of all Dog friendly!
We have recommended it to many already & shall return for more visits in the near future.

Our stay in Smooth Sailing, with my mother visiting from the UK, was a wonderful experience - she was entranced by how the pelicans flew up to her on the beach and posed for many photographs! The views from the deck were so restful, and the lack of a back fence to allow absolute beach front views, and access, from inside and out a fantastic idea. I also loved having the 2 main bedrooms with patio doors opening straight to the deck and beach. A peaceful stay in a beautiful spot. Thank you!

Our group had such a relaxing few days, sitting out on the deck enjoying the view. What a perfect spot!
House is lovely, perfectly appointed,& clean. Plenty of space, & we loved that our four legged friends could join us- they loved the beach at the doorstep as much as we did!

Absolutely beautiful getaway! - Highly recommend. Very relaxing. House was beautifully appointed, and very clean with everything you could need for a relaxing break. Guy's place at Coobowie was perfect for position, cleanliness and excellent facilities.
Guy was easy to deal with online and the whole process was easy to sort out over the internet.
The whole family give this place and lower YP two thumbs up. Great effort, lovely people.

A perfect location with the waves lapping only metres away! Choose to do nothing at all or explore the beaches and coastal towns nearby. A very comfortable home with sensational views of the ocean. Oh the serenity Darl! What a beautiful and peaceful location. Being first timers at Smooth Sailing, we had only booked for several nights and truly wished we'd stayed longer. It was wonderful to find a beach house right on the beachfront where the views were great and we could chill out on the front verandah overlooking the bay or stroll on the easy walking beach. Everything was spick and span inside, comfortable with a tidy and safe back yard for the pets (with Guy's approval of course). We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Upon arrival, it was lovely to draw back the curtains on the large glass windows/sliding doors in each room to reveal the wonderful panoramic view of the bay. Sinking into the lounge chair I first noticed how clean & tidy it was with all the mod cons you could hope for. Over the next few days we enjoyed many strolls to the waters edge and counted 7 different bird species from the house along the way. We walked along the beach to the general store and strolled back eating some of the nicest hot chips I've had for ages. Every day was like a lazy Sunday afternoon, staring out from beyond the glass watching the tide come in & out & the turning of the windmills in the distance. The whole experience was peaceful, quiet & relaxing. Thank you Guy, for such a wonderful opportunity that would otherwise be beyond our means. Most important of all, thank you for allowing our little four legged friend to enjoy it all as well
