Murray's Run is a hand built mud brick and timber house set on 1 hectare of land with views across the picturesque Burralong Valley. The comfortable and well appointed house has plenty of room and can sleep 6 people in two bedrooms [1 double, 2 singles and a sofa bed].
A great advantage is that the cottage is located about 1 hr and 45 minutes from the North Sydney CBD. This makes for an effortless weekend getaway.
The cottage is located close to excellent bushwalking of all grades, bicycle riding (both road and mountain trails), Wollombi Village and the winery area of Broke Fordwich.
This all makes for a great holiday for those who want to experience the Australian bush in a beautiful rural setting.
This unique property is close to Laguna and Wollombi in a picturesque and historic rural region in the mountains south of the Hunter Valley.
Burralong Valley is a wonderful place to unwind, relax and experience country life, all within easy reach of Sydney. Come and enjoy the lovely winter weather and evenings in front of the fire.
For all that's happening in the area from music,the arts and local markets go to the Wollombi Community web site.
Nearby, Wollombi Village has a small local vineyard and cellar door tastings, as well as markets, lovely cafes and restaraunts.
The scenic Broke Fordwich stretch of the Wollombi Brook has quietly developed into a quality wine tourism region where visitors can enjoy premium wines, fresh olive oils and innovative farm gate products, wonderful restaurants and cafes. The drive to Broke from Murray's Run Cottage passes through really lovely country side and makes for a great day out.
Weekend Friday to Sunday minimum 2 nights with a late check out of 4PM

2 Adults $105/night extras as above.
Children stay free during school holidays and long weekends.

General tarrif is $105 per night on weekdays and $350 for a 2 night weekend for two adults. Inclusive of all linen.
