Thompson's Retreat

Description

We have opened our guest house up to provide affordable self contained family accommodation with a touch of B & B.

Set on 2.5 hilltop acres looking down into Tallebudgera Valley, enjoy breathtaking views and wildlife such as water birds, lizards and turtles. If you are lucky you may even see a koala or a possum as they pass by at night.

The villa is a non smoking, fully self contained two bedroom home with one bathroom. It has an open plan living area with large windows for you to take in the views and watch the birds in the morning. Outside there is a private deck for you to enjoy your breakfast or dinner on. The master bedroom has a Queen sized bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. (An extra fold away bed is available on request). There is a fully fitted kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer. There is a dining area within the living area that looks out onto the Valley. The living area also has a comfortable sofa and a wide screen TV, DVD & CD player. All bedding & towels are included.

The main house has a pool which you are free to use but we do ask that children be supervised at all times.

We particularly welcome families to our guest house as it is a fabulous environment for kids to explore safe from traffic (but remember they must be supervised at all times as we have a dam and a lot of wildlife about).

Close to all the Gold Coast attractions!

We are just 5 minutes from West Burleigh and Exit 89 of the M1 Pacific Highway and recommend you have a vehicle when staying with us. Thompson's retreat is a great accommodation base with easy access to all of your needs.

We are close to ALL of the things the Gold Coast has to offer but without the suburban clutter! The region is also home to beautiful national parks with great walking trails, waterfalls and lush rain forest, as well as cosy mountain villages & country towns all within a stone's throw of the coast.
