Description
So named for the well known (in these parts at least) surf break at the Southern point of Sharpes Beach.
Enter through the large wooden gate across the boardwalk through a lush tropical garden to your front door. This beautiful new residence epitomises modern and contemporary – with Asian and Indo touches to ensure warmth and relaxation flow.
Make your way to the top level where the 180o ocean views will have you unwinding before you’ve even put down your bag! The huge chaise lounge comfortably seats 6 (and trust me, it’s comfortable!). Here there is a 42 inch flat screen TV with DVD and Austar. WiFi is also available for your convenience.
Beautiful stainless steel bench tops and splashbacks complete a seamless kitchen with five burner gas stove and a side by side double oven. The large caesar stone island is perfect for casual breakfasts or an evening drink.
Choose to dine inside at the 8 seater indoor table or open the 4 door glass bi-folds out to the balcony bringing the ocean to your door plus outdoor dining and barbeque area.
Glass louvered windows around the house keep the breezes flowing, or use the reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep you cool.
Down the hallway you have the master bedroom encircled with ocean views. The spaces are big! Fabulously comfortable king bed plus a chaise lounge for a quiet afternoons book reading. Huge walk in robe leads back into the large main bathroom. Double showerheads ensure there’s no need to hurry in the shower.
One more bedroom – with a single bed completes this level.
First on the list downstairs is the media room! HUGE (47inch) flat screen TV, Austar, DVD, Mystar, iPod dock – with comfy lounges, recliner, ottoman and cushions ready and waiting! More bifold doors lead out to the deck here and into the garden and solar heated lap pool.
The garden is gorgeous. Beautifully landscaped with frangipani’s, pandanus, birds of paradise and buffalo grass beneath the toes. There are just so many spots to enjoy. Tucked into one corner you’ll find a cubby for the kids…in another corner a hut for those seeking solitude, be it from the sun for an afternoon siesta, or early morning yoga.
The pool area is completely secluded! No neighbouring houses or eyes will spoil your privacy. Cool off at any time of the day, or enjoy an evening dip. A hot/cold outdoor shower has also been installed here for your convenience.
Back to the House: Slide back the panels (behind the media room) to find a queen bedroom with ensuite and air-conditioning. Down the hall two more spacious queen bedrooms – all beautifully presented with quality bed coverings. There is a separate toilet, shower and vanity here. At the end we have the laundry – fully equipped and the door through to the double garage with remote roller doors.
THE BEACH
Walk through your back gate onto the pathway leading under the bridge… Just two minutes walk and you are standing on the beautiful Sharpes Beach. A 20 minute walk North takes you around to Angels Beach or head South and enjoy a stunning hike over to Boulders Beach and continue on to Lennox Head.
