This is a modern house with a verandah around to catch the sun all day. You can Bar-be-que on the front deck with stunning views over Frederick Henry Bay to Mount Wellington above Hobart and across the Norfolk Bay towards Port Arthur.
For a warm cosy atmosphere there's a free standing wood heater in the spacious open plan living area. The bright kitchen with window skylights has a gas stove and lots of appliances. There is a queen bed in the main and double beds in two bedrooms. Bathroom has separate shower and bath tub.
Rumpus room has 51" Plasma and Wii with assorted games, laundry, extra toilet downstairs and another BBQ area.
Things to do.
Enjoy a short stroll to the beach and corner store and a 3 min drive to the boat ramp. Within walking distance is the RSL club where you can relax for a cold drink and on Friday nights have a counter meal or a $10 Sunday spit roast for lunch.
The house is aprox 45 mins from Hobart CBD and 25 mins from the airport. Only a short distance drive to the historic town of Richmond, wineries, restaurants and the Port Arthur historic site.
The fishing town of Dunnalley (10 mins via the back road) has a 9 hole golf course, a beautiful pub on the water front for great meals and a fresh fish market with oysters straight from the farm or you can arrange for a fishing trip.
Don't miss the Tasman Arch, Blowhole, Devils Kitchen, Remarkable Cave, Tessellated pavement and the Tasmanian Devil park. What about an eco-cruise or a wilderness and wildlife tour. For the adventurous there's plenty of rock climbing spots.
After all that you might just want to relax at home and watch the rosellas at the bird feeder in the back yard.
You may even get to see the echidna if he/she visits during your stay.

This was a top spot to stay in Tassie, very central for touring the south.
We hope to return.

Our stay at primrose sands was excelent both my family and the friends we had with us had a wonderfull time. The property was presented in an excellent fashion with nothing I could suggest you could improve on. We will be looking forward to doing it again next time.
PS: The MAN CAVE down stairs was a great surprise as I was travelling with 4 women. Politically correct NO but what a bonus as it was Bathust weekend.

Although at first it appeared Primrose Sands Vue was out of the way in reality is was perfectly positioned for exploring the area around Port Arthur.
The house itself is very well presented and has everything needed to have a comfortable self contained holiday.
The view across the bay is breathtaking.
Sorrel is a major centre less than half an hour drive from Primrose Sands.
The local beaches are beautiful and very safe.
I have no hesitation in recommending this property.

The property is in an excellent location with wonderful views over the water and a lovely beach nearby. It is also a gateway to exploring a lot of Tasmania. There is good access to the East Coast, the Tasman Peninsular and Hobart itself. We witnessed some beautiful sunsets which was a real bonus. The house is very well fitted out with everything one would need for a relaxed holiday. We enjoyed our stay immensely

Primrose Sands Vue is a great place to kickback after exploring the local area. The location is perfect. Far enough away from the city but handy to all the things you want to see in the Hobart area. Happy hour on the deck with such a great view doesn't get any better than this!
After spending many nights in cramped cabins, 4 nights at Primrose Sands Vue was the perfect way to finish our Tassie holiday. Thanks for the experience.
