Topi Gums is a well appointed solar powered house set on 100 acres. It has minimal impact on the environment by generating its own electricity by solar power, using rain water and having a self-composting sewerage facility.
We are proud to provide holiday accommodation with energy saving features and reducing the ecological footprint on our planet.
Location and activities
Topi Gums is situated in the beautiful Great Lakes of NSW, near national parks, forests, lakes and beaches. 5 minutes to Myall Lake, 15 minutes to Seal Rocks, Pacific Palms beaches and Smiths Lake.
Local activities include bushwalking, swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, picnicing, golf, tennis, adventure & sight-seeing tours, star-gaze, birdwatch or spot wildlife, ...or you can just read that book you've been meaning to read.
If you enjoy astronomy, the eastern facing deck is perfect for watching the rising of the moon and planets. At the front gate you will experience an amazing view of the Milky Way. Bring your binoculars or telescope.
Please note: Topi Gums is not suitable for children, toddlers to age 7, due to unfenced dam and gas or hot appliances which pose risks to young children.

We had a great time at Topi Gums, it is a fantastic place and just what the doctor ordered for 7 stressed out city folk! It is such a gamble when booking holiday accommodation but Topi Gums was perfect! We all had a great time and enjoyed relaxing down by the dam, having lunch and dinner on the deck and playing table tennis and pool at night. South West Rocks is beautiful too and enjoyed walking to the lighthouse and playing in the surf.

Philip and Yolanda have created a wonderful holiday home for a relaxing retreat from city life. The accommodation is generously equipt with games, cooking facilities, books and more. All of the rooms are comfortable and generous in size. There is a space for everyone to socialise or find a quiet corner... the hammocks were a favourite of mine. The weather wasn't on our side, with heavy rain all weekend, although there is so much to do in the house that it almost didn't matter. I would definitely recommend this to friends, and wouldnt hesitate to come back.

Topi Gums exceeded our expectation in every way. It was a delightful, joy filled holiday that was enhanced in every way by your home and everything that it had to offer. Swimming in the dam, hanging out in the gazebo, quiet evenings in the house, listening to the frogs, walking around the property, the bicycle ride down to Myall Lake, the cooking facilities, the barbecue, the quality of the beds and the linens, the ping pong table and pool table, the dining table out on the balcony, I could go on and on - Topi Gums gets a 5+. Also, great value for the money.

Our holiday was great. Loved the secluded setting & dam. Definitely met our expectations & we would recommend the house. Liked the fact that there were no neighbours best & that linen and towels were supplied. It was ���Very Good���. We went out on the Myall lakes both days. The lakes were close. BL

I can't stop thinking about the place, it was awesome and reminded me so much of many beautiful holidays back home when I was growing up. Liked the undisturbed unbelievable setting, the sounds of nature, the little lake and peace.

We had the best week. Everything was just perfect,the dogs had a ball.
the house was easy to clean and look after ,everything we needed was there, and the setting was magic.It was so peaceful and relaxing it was hard to leave,could have stayed another week.
