"Lakeside Holiday Letting" is a self contained holiday house located in Lakeside Estate, only 5 minutes drive from Yungaburra, with water frontage to Tinaroo Dam, on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. Yungaburra heritage village is known for its beautiful historic buildings, its famous markets held on the 4th Saturday of every month, and for having some of the North's finest restaurants, arts and crafts. The region is ideal for fishing, skiing, sailing, canoeing, bushwalking, bird watching and many other activities. Perfect for families, "Lakeside Holiday Letting" epitomises country charm - a true home away from home.

Small house-trained pets are welcome inside at night, otherwise for larger dogs there is plenty of room on the patio. They will require their own bedding and are not permitted on the furniture or on the carpets in the bedrooms. Pet owners are to collect any droppings in the yard and dispose of them in the wheelie bin provided. Any breakage or damage done by pets will be the responsibility of the owner of the pet. It is the pet owners responsibility to control their animals, and if needed, to have them on a leash when there are other animals or people around.

"The location of this accommodation couldn't have been better. Only a few steps to the beautiful lake where we caught in excess of three dozen red claw. The house was comfortable and very much a home away from home with all the creature comforts. The log fire was a bonus on the cold nights as were the electric blankets! Our dog spent more time in the lake than out and was exhausted at the end of each day. We really appreciated the warm welcome the owner gave us and will certainly recommend this property to others and in particular to our friends who have dogs."

"I picked this property as we have a young small dog and didn't want to leave him for 3 days with friends. I am so glad that I chose the property to have a few days break from the rat race of work in Cairns. My husband and I had a fantastic time just relaxing at the house and going for lots of walks with JD our dog. Who I might add had a huge time jumping into the dam chasing ducks and anything else he could find. It was a beautiful temperature during the day and quite cold and night which was great as we could light the fire and snuggle up. We enjoyed a couple of the restaurants but generally we just veged out. We will definately have another stay at this Lakeside House and we have told all our friends. Jennifer, Philip and JD (one very tired puppy after 3 days of fun)"

"Fantasic location, great lake views. The house is very cosy & welcoming. Plenty of room inside & outside especially for famlies & pets. My children had the best time. Being so close to the lake to do water sports & also being able to go red clawing every day. This truly is home away from home. We all felt very comfortable & relax here it was hard to go home after a few days stay. Would of like to stay on an extra couple of days so much to see & do here. We have already book to come back for Christmas 2009."

"A Really picturesque location. Right on the Tinaroo Water's edge. Dogs had a ball running, jumping and playing in and around the dam. We tried catching the Red Claw with the pots supplied, but maybe if we used some decent bait we may have got somewhere!!!! We had fun anyway playing ping pong, reading on the verandah, looking at the scenery and doing alot of not much!!! Look forward to staying again, but bringing the extended family next time...... Yungaburra town is great too.. a good base to check out the surrounding areas and the general touristy things. "
