  • "Ty Pren is everything you could ever wish for when looking for a Blue Mountains getaway. Quaint and cottage like, extremely comfortable and relaxing and with all the modern appliances required- especially the coffee machine that makes very yummy coffee! We had a BBQ one night on the balcony, whilst listening to the cockatoos and watching out for kookaburras! We strolled into the main street of Katoomba and found a great deli that had some local produce to have for entree- great cheese! The kitchen is my dream kitchen, the lounge room too- all the beautiful recycled wood that surrounds you and the the pot belly- Its just very beautiful! I really wanted to live there! I will definately be back and will be taking my best friends there too, to experience Ty Pren! "

  • "The house is brilliant and perfect for a family of four. Rachel the masseur was wonderful, and we enjoyed the boil in the bag gormet cuisine from the Carrington Cellars! Having toys there meant the kids really enjoyed it too and there was less for us to take with us. A lovely place, and a lovely weekend, even though it rained and rained, we will be back!"

  • "This little hideaway offers fabulous bush views, loads of fresh air and a country style living with all modern luxuries, lots of toys and bunk beds for kids. Enough room for 2 couples. Hiking tracks are literally 500 meters away. Shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and three sisters is a short drive away. BBQ on the deck with the amazing local wine and loads of nature cannot be beaten. The owner sent us all the details on the local area and more, saved me from researching about it. Perfect weekend away from Sydney and its only an hour and a half drive. . .love it. . .Highly recommended!!!"

  • "My hubby and our 2 kids just stayed at this truely wonderful house in the Blue Mountains. Feels like a log cabin - situated in the valley behind Katoomba looking over "the bush" that you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The owners have put alot of thought and care into the interior decoration and it really shows - it looks fab. Also very child friendly with leather sofas and toys. There is also a big deck with BBQ. We were really impressed (didn't really feel like a rental - more like a home) - we'd really recommend it! "
