Great holidays begin with Sherwood Park's meandering tree-lined sealed driveway from the front gates to the house, where there is plenty of parking, up to 7 cars (including a large integrated carport).
Sherwood Park is a large, beautifully furnished home in outstanding condition, set on a magnificant acre of landscaped lawns and gardens, boasting 5 bedrooms and numerous living areas.
The split level design is both luxurious and spacious, with lots of cosy character for you to rug up with a glass of wine in front of the slow combustion wood heater.
For our summer guests, the home also has air conditioning.
There are 5 living areas:
* a family room near the kitchen (with slow combustion wood heater)
* a formal loungeroom
* a formal diningroom
* a rumpus room with a 50 inch plasma television (with Austar), DVD player and video player
* downstairs library/reading room, which also has a double sofa bed.
Almost every window and each of the 4 sundrenched balconies has views over the home's beautiful gardens. The balconies are perfect for sitting with your morning coffee or favourite afternoon drink whilst taking in the tranquil vista.
The brand new kitchen has a modern caeserstone countertop and a gorgeous bay window overlooking the front garden and tree-lined driveway.
The kitchen is equipped with full sets of quality crockery and cutlery, microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher, electric frypan, BBQ tools, toaster, kettle, champagne and wine glasses.
The laundry contains a washing machine. There is a clothesline in the backyard.
There are enough quality beds to comfortably sleep 13 people. Each bedroom is private and spacious:
Upper level:
* a double bedroom with and extra single bed (sleeps 3). There are great rural views from this lovely room.
* a 2nd bedroom on this level has 2 single beds which are designed to be joined together if required to make a giant king size bed (sleeps 2)
Middle level:
* a premiere queen bedroom with ensuite and private balcony (sleeps 2)
* a smaller bedroom (trundle bed sleeps 2)
Lower level:
* a spacious queen bedroom with the added advantage of inside and outside access (sleeps 2) and a 3rd bathroom and toilet alongside
* a library/reading room with a double sofa bed (sleeps 2). This room also has access to the front garden.
Sherwood Park has 3 and a half bathrooms (including the ensuite to the main bedroom on the middle level and a separate toilet on the lower level).
Outside, there is a sun-filled north-facing paved enclosed courtyard including a BBQ and outdoor furniture.
The gardens themselves are safely fenced and a wonderful place for adults and children to explore. Included is a paved basketball area. You may even spot a couple of rabbits!
Nearby activities
Visit the many excellent restaurants and alfresco cafes, just 1 kilometre into town, an easy walk if you like.
Explore the Highlands wine trails.
Enjoy a game of golf at one of the many golf courses nearby.
Have a refreshing swim at the olympic pool just 500 metres from Sherwood Park.
Bring your pushbikes for an invigorating ride along the many bike tracks around and beyond Bowral or simply enjoy a morning walk along the nearby bush trails, where you are likely to enjoy the sight of a kangaroo or two not to mention the abundant bird life, or simply relax in the peaceful private environment that Sherwood Park's 1 acre garden offers.

Weekend (Fri & Sat nights) - $1325
Children 6 years and over - (Sun-Thurs nights) $65 each per night
Weekend (Fri & Sat nights) - $130 each per weekend
EXTRA ADULTS
Weekdays (Sun -Thurs nights) - $65/night each
Weekend (Fri & Sat nights) - $130/weekend (ie. weekend cost for maximum 13 adults is $2,235 total or $172 each for the weekend, or $86 each per day)
Children over 12 yrs $130 per weekend
