Guest Reviews

  • "As visitors from the UK on our first venture to Oz we could not have chosen a better spot to stay. The position of the House on the Rock is truely spectacular and we enjoyed the views of the bay both throughout the day and in the evenings from the deck . The house is beautifully appointed: very clean and chic with everything to make your stay special.I would recommend it but be aware that there is a slopping grassy access area to negotiate and with heavy cases it could be a problem. • "House on the Rock was a wonderful escape for our adult family. The location was spectacular, the house and its contents modern and luxurious. We all felt like millionaires just for a few days."

  • "This was relaxed beach house style, as good as it gets. Everything you need is there. Great comfy beds, spotless linen, fantastic kitchen facilities, and enough chairs for extra guests.Awesome sunsets, a pristine beach and a ginormous pet grouper which took an interest us when we were snorkelling. A larger than large lobster, which fed us all, a possum which came to the door each evening and stayed until he received his fill, and the beautiful birds which inhabited the trees around the balcony during my early morning cuppa. This was truly paradise. Seclusion at it's best, but so central to everything Bundeena has to offer.I will be back with my family for more special times."

  • "This was our second visit to this beautiful home. I knew my parents would just love the water views and the relaxing atmosphere and so we gave them a birthday treat. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the beds are very comfy, and there are all the appliances you need in the kitchen to cook up a feast. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, watching a mother possum at night and very casual strolls along the beach. The ideal restful break."

  • "Beautiful house - a perfect setting for our girls weekend away, but would be equally great for 2-3 couples. The setting above the water was just spectacular, and the house very comfortable and well-appointed. "
