Description
Greycliffe is a beautiful period mountains cottage situated in a pretty street only a stones throw from the village of Blackheath. The cottage is a newly reconstructed and renovated home. It has been decorated throughout to the highest standards.
It is a perfect romantic getaway for couples who enjoy luxury and privacy only one and a half hours drive from Sydney. The home is ideally located within a few hundred metres of the historic village of Blackheath. Cafes,antiques, fine restaurants and cosy pubs are all a short stroll away.
Greycliff can accommodate one or two couples for a memorably luxurious stay.There are polished timber floors throughout, with large Persian rugs to take away that winter chill.
The cottage has two generous sized bedrooms containing one queen and one double size bed. Both bedrooms offer amazingly soft beds and fluffy down filled doonas to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. New quality bed linen of a high standard is also supplied. Rooms are tastefully furnished with double wardrobes, bedside tables and reading lamps.
The lounge room has been beautifully decorated in period style. The works of art that adorn the walls throughout the cottage,complete the ambiance.There are comfortable quality leather armchairs and a sleeper sofa and soft pillows to sit and relax by the large open fire(wood supplied). The cottage dining room seats four people comfortably and the central heating keeps all rooms snug and warm even on those chilly nights.
The kitchen is new, modern and fully equipped. Greycliff has a new, elegantly appointed modern style bathroom with quality fixtures. The laundry is fully equipped.
The home has a large rear deck with a gas barbeque which overlooks the lovely private back garden. The deck has a outdoor dinning setting for four and is a perfect way to enjoy outdoor dinning and the garden. The front verandah offers a peaceful outlook and makes for an ideal way to enjoy afternoon wine and refreshments while watching the sun go down.
Greycliff is light and bright throughout and offers a tranquil setting for total relaxation.
Unfortunately the cottage is not suitable for children or pets and has a non smoking policy.
