Just a few hours drive north of Sydney on the Pacific Highway (less than 1 hour from Newcastle), the twin towns of Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest nestle on the northern shore of Port Stephens, bounded by the Port, Myall River, Pacific Ocean and Myall Lakes National Park. So much to do...koala spotting, bird watching, long or short walks by the beach or through the bush, golf, lawn bowls and cycling are ideal pastimes during the cooler months.
