Location

Just a few hours drive north of Sydney (less than an hour from Newcastle) on the Pacific Highway, the twin towns of Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest nestle on the northern shore of Port Stephens, bounded by the Port, Myall River, Pacific Ocean and Myall Lakes National Park. So much to do...koala spotting, bird watching, long or short walks by the beach or through the bush, golf, lawn bowls and cycling are ideal pastimes during the cooler months. Relax over dinner at one of the top class retaurants by the river under the stars. Drive (or walk) over the Singing Bridge and you will find yourself in Hawks Nest. Surf at Bennetts Beach (which stretches to Seal Rocks) or take the kids for a swim at Jimmys Beach or the lagoon at Winda Woppa.
