  • "Stayed for 4 days and would love to stay again! It's lovely and new with comfortable beds, a great kitchen and surrounded by beautiful trees.A trail at the bottom of the garden leads to Smith's Lake which is so serene. All you can see are water and trees; pelicans and often eagles and kites glide overhead. It is a very quiet location about 5 minutes from the Frothy Coffee Boatshed and 1 minute to fab Lake Cafe.We can highly recommend hiring canoes and exploring the lake."

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Bask. This is a lovely house that has been beautifully renovated. The house is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could want on holiday and the owners went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The bonus is that the house has easy access to the lake and it is set among the trees so you get to enjoy peace and quiet and the sounds of the birds (lorikeets and kookaburras). Thanks again for a wonderful stay, Tim and Alex "

  • "We chose this property as it had water front access so that we could use our windsurfers with our teenage sons on the lake. It was perfect for what we needed! The cottage was lovely, in a beautiful and extremely quiet location, with a lovely little deck on which to take in the serenity. It was actually probably the best equipped holiday accommodation that we have been to. With everything from liquid soap, glad wrap, coffee, clothes detergent, dish washing tablets, bathroom deodorizer, paper towel, insect spray, torches...not to mention a bottle of lovely red wine. The inclusions in the house were of high quality, new, and wonderfully clean. The beds were comfortable and the thought to little details in regard to storage space is great for travellers. I must also say that our communications with the owners at a very busy time in our lives were outstanding and considerate. We commenced this holiday knowing that it may be the last holiday with our two youngest children. It did not disappoint and we recommend it highly. Mary & Bruce"

  • "We had a lovely relaxing week at Bask. The house was perfect in every way and the owners a pleasure to deal with. Recently decorated the house is clean and fresh, with comfy beds and good quality bed linen. Great stove for the cooks out there and well equipped kitchen. Great deck with view through the trees to the lake. Definitely a place I would like to return to. :-)"
