Features a private and exceptionally large and secure backyard,wonderful for children or the family pet, an exceptional feature in the inner city. Walking distance to the Canberra Centre, restaurants and cafes and all CBD locations including War Memorial, Floriade, Commonwealth Park, Glebe Park, the law courts, government offices, Canberra Theatre Centre, Lake Burley Griffin and Civic Pool, etc. Park the car and use the bike trails!
ACCOMODATION
3 bedrooms with queen size beds,one with ensuite.
The 4th bedroom has 2 singles,and is located via the bedroom with ensuite. All beds have lovely Sheridan bedding. Linen and towels can be provided.
The laundry has a front loader washing machine and dryer.There is also a washing line under cover on the rear balcony.
There is a large outdoor area with barbeque or you can sit under cover on the balcony overlooking the large treed garden.
Check in after 2pm, check out by 10am, or by arrangement.

As a group we found the accommodation was fantastic and the location was great for quick access to the city and surrounds.

We are 4 couples in our 60s, the house was perfect for our get together. The rooms were a good size and comfortably furnished. The location was very handy to the centre of Canberra and plenty of off street parking. Although the backyard and BBQ area were not used this time, because of cold weather, at a different time of the year these could be well used.

2 Grandparents, 3 parents and 3 boisterous 7 yr old grandchildren all very happy with the appointments of the house and enormous back garden for any excess energy to be "burned" off. Sure beat our later stay in an apartment in Sydney-felt like cooped caged chickens there.
Retail therapy if needed is a 10minute walk across Glebe Park coupled with ample parking space at the property what more could you want. Hope to return.

The perfect accomadation and location for a family visit to Canberra. Within walking distance of the centre, shops, parks and some attractions. The rooms are all spacious, clean and well presented. However the highlight for us was the large enclosed garden and barbequearea at the rear which was great for relaxing in the evening after a long day around the meseums and galleries. We shall certainly book again.

The house was a fantastic place to stay during our visit to Canberra. It had all the facilities we required and plenty of space. A suggestion for improvement would be air-conditioning, as it got very hot on the day we stayed. However we would still recommend this house to anyone looking for accommodation in the area. We stayed at Glebe Park with our family for four days for the Canberra Triathlon.It was close to the lake and to Canberra City Centre, an ideal location! The house was lovely, very clean and comfortable with a very large back yard and a swing set for the grandchildren. We will definitely stay at Glebe Park again when we return to Canberra.

Really enjoyed our time at Glebe Park. Our 2yr old Granddaughter especially liked the "park" in the backyard. Any place that has a swing has to be a park.

House was very tidy and clean, everything easy to use and well set out. We had 4 women in the house and we all managed to get around each other with no problems. Will definately stay again with the family. This was perfect for us as we had convention at the convention centre and it was literally a 5 minute walk around the park. Thanks for a great house!

We had a great time at Glebe Park. The property offers a great location, with shops and parks a short walk away. The back yard is great for kids and dogs and the house truly offers a home away from home feeling. Next time we're in Canberra, we'll be staying at Glebe Park.

Staying in Canberra for my daughters wedding I wanted a place where the family could be together but not on top of each other as you would be if staying in motel accomodation. The accomodation was excellent, very welcoming, spacious and clean. Had I of know how great it was I would of arranged for my daughter and her bridesmaids to get dressed their for the wedding and had the pre wedding photos taken there. It is VERY central which is convienient. I will highly recommend this home to my friends for family / group accomodation in the future. The only downfall was it was so hot and we couldn't open any windows. There appeared to be a air cooling system in the home but not sure as we couldn't get it working. If the system we seen was cooling as well as heating I would suggest a simple chart on how to use the system. If no cooling is in the home it definately needs it. If this was sorted I would rate the premisis as outstanding.

Hi Penny,
Thanks so much for opening your property to us. I was arranging accommodation for a family group to attend a wedding, and was thrilled upon arriving at the house. The property was better than I (and everyone else) had expected, and kept everyone happy throughout our stay.
The only potential for improvement that I can suggest is working to release some of the windows or providing a pedestal fan. When we first arrived, the smell of the paint was fairly strong (I'm guessing it was recently repainted?), and it was tricky to air this out without open windows.
We also were unsure if the oven worked initially, as it took some time to warm up. Perhaps let people know to allow some time for warming up?
We absolutely loved the house, the property (so peaceful!) and the convenience of location. We'll definitely keep it in mind if we ever need a house in Canberra again!
Just a thought - you should put more emphasis on the size of the yard in your listing - it was a definite bonus for us!

Loved the place. Convenient to everything, we were able to walk to lots of places (even with kids it wasn't too far). Would have been nice if the grass was mown as the kids played outside a lot. Great backyard for kids though.

First visit to Canberra to watch grandson play footy! plus sightseeing.
Absolutely loved the house,(love the homes with character), well set out and comfortable.Good appliances with everything needed for cooking etc in the cupboards.
Very close to city and walking distance to shops.
Bright bedrooms, the kids loved the twin single bedroom, with the great windows allowing the light and sun in.
Had daughter,son-in-law and their two children aged 4 and 7 years with us. The kids loved the big back yard and forever on the swings and wanted to be outside, even tho a tad cool but being mostly sunny which was a bonus.
Would definitely recommend this property....and if in Canberra again would rebook without hesitation!

Had a wonderful stay at Glebe Park. The house was very clean and cozy and extremely warm. The beds were super comfortable!!!! We were able to check in a little early with no extra charge.I would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely return to stay here. (only suggestion, a larger fry pan in the kitchen).
