What a great place to stay! We had an enjoyable time in the property. The birds kept us entertained and the fire kept us warm. There was plenty of fire wood and it was alight when we arrived which was great! The entire property was very clean with lots of room for 4 adults. We would love to return for another stay in the future.
Thanks

Amazing place to stay. The wildlife was all around us, and my kids were able to hand feed rosellas, cockatoos and other birds from the balcony. Kangaroos would come up and around the house quiet often, it was lovely.Very well kept property, with lovely linen, furniture ect. Well thought out kitchen easily allows for the cooking of family meals for those with kids.

Could not have asked for a better experience. The property was spectacular we spent a week there for our 20th Wedding Anniversary (and this was our 2nd visit). The wildlife is amazing with the Rosellas, Cockatoos and Kookaburras coming right up to us to eat the bird seed that was thoughtfully provided. Not to mention sitting on the deck eating breakfast watching the Kangaroos with their Joeys in the front yard. Thank you for providing such a perfect atmosphere, can't wait till next year.

Took our friends from Germany for an experience they will never forget. Hand feeding Rosellas, Kooka Burras and a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, many Kangaroos. The bush setting is amazing and the lodge was wonderful. Will return again if the opportunity arises.

Fire on arrival was amazing! Thank you, created an immediate welcoming atmosphere. The fireplace definitely kept us warm all night.
There was only the two of us staying for the week, however it would be suitable for families. Location was great, close to coffee shops and a lovely bakery. I would suggest packing hiking gear as there are multiple walking tracks. Definitely would return! A great winter getaway.

Halls Gap Bush Lodge offers a tranquil getaway. Booked for a girls getaway, the wood fire (and abundance of cut wood), well equipped kitchen, and cosy bedding and linen were much appreciated. Waking up to the sound of 'nothing' other than kookaburra's was bliss! The lodge is close to town and offers a cool loft style accomodation. It was very clean. The only, very minor, thing we could suggest for improvement would be to have thicker towels available for guests. The wood fire was even lit awaiting our arrival :-)Overall, such a fantastic place to stay! Thanks Lindsay :-)

We enjoyed our stay at Bush Lodge. The highlights were the abundance of wild life; kangaroos just bouncing by and kookaburras and parrots on the balcony. The owners had left seeds to feed the birds; a nice touch. Master bedroom has a nice view of the pinnacle. Quiet street, although there are other holiday homes around, the peace and quiet is lovely. Fitted out with all the amenities needed to self cater and a nice balcony BBQ.

Our family had a fantastic time at the Halls Gap Lodge. The house was great and clean! Beds were extremely comfortable. We all enjoyed relaxing by the fire at night and breakfast on the deck. The children got a real kick from having their "own kangaroos" in the front and back yard. We had everything we needed and more-hard to leave!

This place is a little gem, the location was great not far out of town, and so quiet and relaxing. The visits from the birds which we were able to hand feed were a bonus and had a couple of the local kangaroos visit us every night as well. The Bush Lodge had everything you could wish for, lovely bed, great modern/comfy furniture. I would highly recommed this place and would definately stay here again.
Great communication from the hosts.
Thankyou

Thankyou so much, a lovely warm welcoming fire on arrival and everything we needed for a great break. The wildlife and setting were beautiful. We especially appreciated the cards and books for the kids and also enjoyed catching up on the latest hollywood gossip in all the fun mags. Even though the beds were plenty comfortable, our 10 year old son insisted on sleeping in the massive wardrobe upstairs - Harry Potter style. Should I start worrying???
Thanks heaps

My partner and i desired a romantic getaway in a secluded quite town. Halls Gap was the destination. The Halls Gap Bush Lodge was the perfect accomadation to suit our needs. A very comfortable, luxurious stay, with the spa being the high point and a big beautiful king size bed. We struggled to leave, and give a very high rating of what the Bush Lodge had to offer. Look forward to many returns.
