THE APARTMENT:
With two spacious bedrooms each containing a queen bed, two bathrooms, as well as an optional fold out double bed in the living area, Villa Sorrento could comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. The living area boasts comfortable modern furniture with a large 42inch Plasma TV, 6 seat dining table and entertainment area of which looks out over the large tropical balcony. The balcony is the perfect space to breath in the fresh Coral Sea air while having a BBQ and kicking back to watch the sunset behind the peaks of the Daintree.
Villa Sorrento was designed for ultimate tropical living with air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout, built in robes in each bedroom to help settle you in and a modern kitchen to make meal time easy. Some DVD's are provided for the odd night in!
Villa Sorrento - The Apartment
Only 10 years old, this modern, spacious and bright apartment is located close enough to walk into town, but far enough away to encapsulate the ultimate in tropical living.
Bedrooms: With two large bedrooms, each with built in wardrobes, queen sized beds and air conditioning, Villa Sorrento comfortably sleeps two couples or a small family. The large living area contains a fold out double bed that can extend the sleep quarters for two more people. The main bedroom has an en suite with toilet, shower and basin. The second bathroom is located next to the second bedroom.
Kitchen: A spacious self contained area complete with oven, hotplates, microwave, refrigerator as well as some 'starter condiments' to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Living area: This spacious room contains two sofa's (one fold out), a large screen TV and DVD player, 6 seat dining suite and ceiling fans. Tasteful art brings colour to the unit and boardgames give a 'homely feel'.
Laundry: A private laundry is located in the entrance of the apartment complete with washing machine, dryer, laundry sink, washing detergent and clothes airer.
Swimming Pool: The cool tropical surrounds of the shared pool area allows for a relaxing swim after a day of activities.
A compendium is also provided for guests to ensure as much local advice is provided at the start of your holiday so you get the best out of your stay.
Outdoor living: The balcony over looks the serene tree-lined streets and boast tropical plants, 4 seat outdoor setting as well as a BBQ. Perfect for a G&T and some fresh local fish on the barbie.

Villa Sorrento is located in the heart of the Port Douglas village, a short walk from the infamous Four Mile beach, the marina and the main street. Tucked away in the quiet tree lined street of Beryl Street, this apartment offers a quiet and relaxing environment in the heart of a vibrant village.
This apartment is set up to cater for up to 3 couples or 6 people. Should you require bedding or equipment for small children or infants, a recommendation for hire can be made but is not included in this tariff.

We had a great stay at the Villa, it was very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the balcany where we ate most of our meals. We could walk easily to the shops. We appreciated all that Jess did for us, she was most helpful.

My family and I had an amazing time here. We could walk to the town center and any restaurant. The place is big and super comfortable. Jess supplied us with oils, jams, S & P, a cold water jug mustard and ketchup and so much more she even arranged us a tour and saved us 15% (which added up to 120$ of savings). RECOMMEND for sure!!!! She is very knowledgeable about Port Douglas and the area and was really big help with all my important questions i.e. what are the set restaurants. :) Andrea

This villa is great value for money and accomodated our family of five very comfortably. It is in a good location, a five minute walk from the beach and the shops and restaurants. The owner Jess was extremely helpful. Thankyou, we would stay again.

The apartment was fantastic. Excellent location and within walking distance to everything. Rooms are large and having the two bathrooms was ideal, especially with a young child. Thank you Jess for all your help and we look forward to visiting again soon. We had a very relaxing holiday.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...Villa Sorrento was everything and more. Great location, great accommodation and fulfilled all the expectations as promised on the website. Every detail was taken care of down to the wine in the fridge and fresh flowers in the lounge. We were within walking distance to everything and coach pickup for activites was just across the street. Really enjoyed the BBQ on the balcony, the kitchen was well equipped and the Plasma TV was great to just sit back,relax and enjoy a movie or a snooze on the couch. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Villa Sorrento to anyone. Thanks Jess

We were delighted with the size, design and comfort of the apartment together with the fact that it was an easy walking distance to the shops, marina and the lovely beach.The kitchen was well equipped and there were some nice touches to greet our arrival including fresh flowers, some tea and coffee and cleaning and cooking agents. It was great that our large TV had caption facility to allow our hearing-impaired daughter to enjoy her favourite programs. Our balcony with trees adjacent afforded many bird-watching activities over outdoor meals. All very comfortable! Many thanks, Jess.

Having recently stayed here I would highly recommend Villa Sorrento. It was very comfortable and well presented, in a great location close to beach and shops. BBQ on balcony and small in ground pool.
